Light stroked at the lids of her eyes. Instead of the light glow of the holograms in Miguel's office, it was aggressive and avidly ripping her from her slumber. "So that is what you look like." A voice piped up. Y/n opened her eyes, trying to adjust to the suddenly loud environment around her. Her body shook, atoms rearranging yet again. "I wondered why Miguel would keep an anomaly like you around." She listened to the form's footsteps, ones that approached her. "But you.. You're not like the others. You're much different. Your body has the most dark matter I've ever seen." Y/n's vision began to return, she was in a factory. Partially abandoned, and leaking oil throughout the cracks of its cement floor. "You glitch. Glitch well. Glitch too well. You can just keep doing that trick until the end of time, with the amount of atoms you got stocked in there." She shook her head, now realizing she couldn't wipe the headache away. She was tied to a chair, both her ankles and arms. She felt the material of the bondages, metal- extremely heavy. They definitely left marks, long after their use.

They had something electrical in its hollow shape, some gizmo. A word she had found she liked to use when she didn't want to explain something complicated to someone. Y/n used to be a head scientist at Alchemax. At Least she thought she was. She only recovered bits and pieces of her memories, the ones she thought were long gone. "And your body.. It's linked with the masses. It wouldn't even matter if you run out of atoms would it?" She tried to blink the voice away. All she tried to do now was gather how she got here. In Front of this shadowed figure- she couldn't make out. Y/n opened her mouth, only to empty the red contents of her throat seconds later. "Oh. Forgot about your little weakness. The other one at least." A towel came up to her chin, which was now dripping metallic paste. Y/n took the opportunity to bite the hand, as hard as she could. The figure shook, before dropping the towel and striking her across the face. "You-" "Who are you? Do I know you..?" Y/n cut the kidnapper off, feeling the sting on her cheek.

"I should- With your stupid stalker notes." Y/n, spit out more blood, not exactly sure whose it was. The light flickered on. She didn't recognize the man, but then again she didn't recognize anyone anymore. He looked villainous in every way, dark clothing- ripped skin, greasy hair, and now a gushing bite in his hand. "What reason does some lowlife science apprentice have to kidnap me? Enlighten me." He shook the pain from his hand, "What I really don't understand is why you haven't gotten it yet! You're the final key! You- are the closest person to the leader of the spider society- the largest holder of dark matter in the multiverse, and a genius alchemist. Now if I just exploit these little weaknesses of your's- I'll not only have The Miguel O' Hara in my pocket, but the entire society in my hands. And besides that- Access to your memories and research into the dark matter that turned you into this." Y/n glared, before leaning back in her restraints. "Oh, you're gonna love this then." Turning away from the gnarly man. "What?" "Nothing." She looked across the room for an escape. The world outside the shattered windows was much too dark to analyze. She had no idea what dimension she was in.

Or how she got here. Besides the kidnapper story, which she currently wasn't enjoying. And why she wasn't panicked. Maybe it was because she was dating the leader of a strike force of elite Spidermen- or the fact, she had nothing to lose. Miguel didn't need her, that was at least what she thought. She didn't have a family to remember, or a home to return to. The man was right. She was just an indispensable anomaly that Miguel had to deal with. She wondered if she was this insecure before memory loss. Or if she was just as useless. A rough hand grabbed her chin, pulling her towards the man. Her form glitched in his grasp. "These little things usually would be too weak to hold something like you. But I caught you just in the moment." She kept her face straight, he could be bluffing about what he knew. Those little weaknesses he mentioned, weren't so little to her. Having unlimited atoms doesn't mean having a limited sense of pain. She felt each and every part of her dying. And about those parts that were. She had found out early on in her new life that she had a virus. She was able to track it only to 3 other dimensions. One, it had cleared out most of the world's population. Another, they quarantined the population that had contracted it, though the sickness not actually being contagious, they didn't seem to care. And the last one. They had some light suppressants, but luckily it had only been reduced to a small number of people.
