Y/n strolled through the library looking for a particular book, the thing about bludhavens Library was that while you could find the average book or comic book to read for fun, there was a particular section reserved for more.....creative interests.

Y/n has been into magic, myths and the occult for sometime now, especially since the death of his mother all those years ago, and now after unlocking his spiritual power, he needed to know more.
"Hollows....dark creatures born from human souls who could not crossover." Y/n said going over the basic info of the creatures that roamed around the city. "Invisible to the average human eye."
"And not an excuse to throw your life away."
Y/n jumped and turned, seeing a figure with a dark cloak, y/n couldn't see a face, but for some reason, there were ravens perched everywhere, and he could feel the power radiating off of them and...was that a glow on her forehead?
The figure revealed a hand with several bracelets, as though expecting something, y/n assumed they wanted the book and he wasn't in a position to deny them, he didn't want to fight at a library.
He gave her the book and the figure spoke once more. " capable of devouring souls both living and dead, some are runts...others are intelligent having survived for years." The figure continued to read before closing the book. " not something to be hunted because you think it's your destiny." The woman spoke, her tone the same but now carrying a critical edge.
"This isn't destiny, these things are all over the place and it's not like John Constantine or Zatanna can be everywhere at once." Y/n said crossing his arms.
" hm, at least your well informed, then you should not this is not something your built for." The woman said simply.
"What do you know?" Y/n said rolling his eyes.
The woman revealed her face and y/n eyes widened slightly now recognizing who this was. "You're...Raven right? From the teen titans." Y/n said suprised she was here of all places, he knew of her as her team has been around since his high school days.
"Just titans these days." Raven clarified, they shed the teen title since they weren't exactly teens anymore. " and while I couldn't care less about a guy with a death wish, it's kind of my job to tell you not to throw your life away,"
"Heh, congratulations you done it, now can I have the book back?" Y/n said motions for her to give him back the book, she didn't budge.
"Give me a good reasons why?" Raven said simply.
Y/n stared at her for a moment, before in the blink of an eye drawing his sword zangetsu up to her neck.
