Y/n was currently sleeping soundly with his wife Karlach who was currently hugging him tightly with all four limbs, and soon the tiefling began to awaken.

"Yawn....." Karlach sounded as she sat up stretching, she began walking to the kitchen rubbing her eyes, when stopped suddenly. " Gasp!" Karlach then ran back to bed, kneeling over y/n and shaking him. " soldier, cmon, up, up!"

Y/n began to shift and sat up groggily "H-huh, what?...did Astarion catch on fire again?" Y/n asked through his yawning.

"No love, it's Christmas!" Karlach said bouncing in excitement.

Y/n smiled at his wife, Christmas was Karlachs absolute favorite holiday and her almost childlike excitement  always warmed his heart. " I see that..." y/n responded looking out the window. " unfortunately the snow storm has  no sign of letting up." Y/n commented as he watched  the snow hit the window.

"Oh but when has that ever stopped us?" Karlach asked waving it off. " we can have cocoa, play games,  watch the grinch with hot cocoa, and then the gifts!" Karlach jumping on y/n. " and we can't forget the sweaters."

Y/n sweat dropped at the last part. " dear you know I'm not a fan of those sweaters."

Karlach looked like a kicked puppy hearing that "But it's tradition soldier! Pleaaaase...for Mama K?" Karlach asked with a fierce pout.

Y/n sighed with a smile, he could never deny her. " alright, for you."

"Ah!" Karlach cheered and peppered him with kisses, kissing him fiercely before coming to yet another realization. " oh! one more thing, we are going to be a trio today."

Y/n raised an eyebrow. "Who's coming?"

"KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK!"

"that's her!" Karlach hopped off the bed and quickly went for the door, y/n got up and followed quickly putting on the pajama pants he had taken off the night before.

Karlach opened the door and y/n was shocked to see shadowheart standing there with her hand up performing a minor spell that shielded from the fierce storm.

"Don't look so surprised y/n." Shadowheart said as she entered and Karlach quickly closed the door. " it is you and Karlach that said I was welcome at any time."

"And I was not going to let her brood away by herself, not on my watch."Karlach said hugging shadowheart and pressing her to the side of her breast.

"I don't brood." Shadow said with an irritated pout but didn't bother to move away from Karlach.

"Hehe." Karlach giggled. " well what say we get this day started!?" Karlach yelled pumping her hand in the air.

Y/n and shadow heart shared a smile, and soon they got the day going, they baked cookies which lead to a food fight, the played twister , they danced, and of course they wore sweaters, now they had exchanged gifts.

"These things are horrid..." shadowheart muttered in irritation. " but quite comfortable."

"That's why they are the best!" Karlach said with a laugh, she then looked at her hubby. " now soldier, I had to think about your gift since all you ever seem to want is Swords or video games."
