Y/Ns Apartment

Y/n is currently going through info on his laptop, skimming through anything he can gather on his next target. "It was extremely tall, I had never felt so small...." Y/n said reading through someone's account of the monster. " it moved like it had no skeleton...but that didn't mean it was slow..." y/n continued as he wrote down the key details he was catching.

"I shot it in the head.....and it kept going...I shot it again and again... but it just put itself back together.... I ran and dropped everything I was carrying, it didn't chase me for long, maybe it got bored or maybe I was in its territory it doesn't matter... if you see it-

"God help you"

Someone had whispered in y/Ns ear, a shiver went down his spine and he went into fight or flight, whirling around and summon his dagger demon fang, and swinging stopping mere centimeters away from the introducers neck once he realized who it was.

"Yoruichi, Coño what the fuck were you thinking??" Y/n said through his teeth pulling his dagger away.

"Great Job, No Hesitation, good to see our practice is paying off." Yoruichi said casually, she hadn't moved at all when the dagger closed in on her neck, y/n wasn't sure if she just trusted he'd stop or if she was just that confident she could have stopped him...honestly it had to be both.

"Your gonna give me damn heart attack one day you know that?" Y/n said unamused placing his dagger on the desk.

"Maybe, if it won't be by scaring you." yoruichi said with a wink and got closer to him, y/n just shook his head, Yoruichi then kissed the corner of his lip, y/n looked down at her for a moment before holding her hip and placing a gentle kiss on her lips, yoruichi smiled and nuzzled his face a bit like a cat would, she may be a headache but she was his headache.

"So what's the next urban legend we are investigating." Yoruichi asked looking at the laptop.

"There isn't much on it but..."Y/n said as he clicked on a drawing one of the accounts did off their memory. " it's big and bullets aren't enough to take it out."

Yoruichi analyzed the photo and got to thinking. " a regenerator." She said simply.

" a little on the nose don't you think" y/n said unimpressed by the name leaning back on his chair and allowing yoruichi to sit on his lap, wrapping his arms around her waist as she typed.

"Not everything needs a good nickname babe." Yoruichi said as she pulled up some images. " you could call them sorcery experiment, you could count the amount that remain on one hand."

"Really? You'd think something that could survive shots to the head would be a bigger problem." Y/n said in confusion, seeing other blurry sightings she pulled up.

"Well that was the intent but the experiment failed, they thrive off human flesh but don't do good in hot temperatures, especially in the sun, think of them like zombie vampires." Yoruichi explained.

"So cutting one's head off should be easy enough ." Y/n said as his enchanted daggers were perfect for decapitation.

"Nope it would just pick up its head off the ground, you're gonna have to prep some explosives for this." Yoruichi explained. " have you confirmed if it's still alive in gravesfield?"
