For a mutant it's easy to forget that that we are human beings at the end of the day, and like humans we all got problems, baggage that we would rather push to the side and address, and some manage to do just fine with it, but when you share a mansion with friends, rivals and lovers alike, things can get messy.
Such was the situation between y/n, rogue and gambit, as y/n walked across the hallway he couldn't help but mull over things in his head, he really wanted to avoid getting into it with Remy over rogue, they weren't in highschool, and besides remy was a nice guy! And rogue had been spending time with him..a lot of time, There was only one way to avoid problems here, he needed to set things straight with rogue, they were supposed to be on a break but he needed to know if he was wasting his time.
Y/n entered the door and caught them hugging, such a simple thing, so why was he so bothered by it..
"Rogue." Y/n said catching the pairs attention as he closed the door, his emotions getting the better of him. " I don't even know why I-"
"Whoa there friend, no need for yellin, gambit was just passion through, getting his thoughts out," gambit said patting y/Ns shoulder, making a motion with his hands signifying there was no need for violence.

"But now that ah did that, wouldn't wanna take any more of y'all time." Gambit said gently pulling y/n and rogue closer together. " youse a lucky man y/n." Gambit said with a smirk, patting y/n on the back and heading for the door.
"Take care okay Remy?" Rogue said with a small smile, y/n still wasn't sure how to feel.

"Always mon Ami." Gambit said doing a two finger salute, he then left the two alone.
"Have a got a flick for you tonight!" Rogue said told y/n with excitement heading over to her drawer, y/n just tucked his hands in his hoodie, she was really trying to play this like shit was fine and breezy.
"Romeo must Die, starring jet li and Aaliyah..." rogue spoke though she lost her energy when y/n wasn't amused. " if your interested?"
Y/n shook his head. " no I'm not." Y/n answered before walking towards the door.
"Y/n." Rogue called out, stopping him, rogue held her hands together looking at him with a soft expression. " ah thought ah wanted to be with gambit, ah thought my heart wanted something different...but ah was just lying to myself, it's wants to be with you...cause I love you." Rogue said honestly with a warm smile.
Y/n clenched his jaw as he looked down at the floor.
" don't you love me?" Rogue asked with hope in her eyes.
Y/n scoffed and waved her off. " you wear me out rogue..." y/n said walking out the door, making rogues eyes widened in shock in horror.
"Butya always forgive me y/n!" Rogue yelled running after him.
"No not this time!" Y/n said closing in on his door.
"NO DONT LEAVE ME!" Rogue begged getting on her knees and grabbing y/Ns legs, making him nearly fall and catching himself on his door.
"Please forgive me! Ahm on my knees! Ruining man good leggins!" Rogue begged holding on for dear life.
Bobby Drake, turned the corner and looked at the sight in confusion, unsure what to say, heading for y/Ns door as they were supposed to watch the game, he decided to leave them to it. " carry on." Bobby said nodding to them and entering the room.
"Please believe me, please.." rogue confined before y/n finally got himself upright and picked her up.
"What am ah supposed to do y/n?" Rogue asked looking up at y/n, emotions running through her.
"You're supposed to give me time." Y/n said patting his chest.
"How much time?" Rogue asked truly wishing to know.
"As much time as it takes." Y/n said, not maliciously but firmly just to get the message across.
Rogue looked down and and nodded. " alright..." rogue said weekly before walking back to her room.
Y/n looked at her for a moment before opening his door,
"Ow!" Bobby sounded as y/n had accidentally hit his when opening the door, y/n just shook his head as he entered. " I don't believe it, you actually shut her down? It's over??" Bobby asked, wondering if this was really where the two ended.
Y/n shook his head. " nah...I'm taking her back." Y/n said as he kicked his feet up and turned on the tv. "After the game." Y/n said with a smirk, watching the nba finals.
