Y/n watched from the balcony of his room as young mutants use their abilities to play sports and have fun, this was how it should be, peace for everyone, perhaps in an ideal world, perhaps in Xavier's ideal world but that was a dream still out of reach.
Much had changed for y/n since became an X-Men, When he joined he genuinely believed that saving those lowlifes, working in politics and helping would help us towards Acceptance, but he was naive back then, and when it seemed like mutants could finally begin to truly hope for the future, what did the American government do?...leave genosha unrecognizable...
That day..just a mere 3 years ago....that was the day y/n truly understood where magneto was coming from, and while y/n still wasn't keen on wiping out everyone on earth, he can't say he would be truly mad if the master of magnetism managed to pull it off.
Millions of mutants died.....perhaps more if y/n hadn't put his powers on full display....letting all those'd suits know just how powerful they truly were....how powerful he truly was.

So know his priorities have shifted, mutants first, humans come second, While in his thoughts y/n caught a baseball out of reflex, he looked to see several students looking up at him, frightened, admiration, perhaps a mixture of both, y/n did have red eyes as a result of his powers.
"Watch the windows." Y/n said simply tossing the ball back.
The kid caught in in his mitt and smiled "Thank you Mr shinmon."he said before he and his team went back to their game.

Y/n then saw nightcrawler appear in a puff of black smoke beside him. "Apologies mean friend, but the headmaster requires your presence." Kurt said kneeling on the railing with his tounge wave casually.
"tell the ice queen to bother somebody else." Y/n said not in the mood, he just wanted to chill, ugh Bobby would love that unintentional pun.
"She said if you didn't show you would be off future missions until further notice." Kurt said with a sheepish look.
Y/n sighed, if there was one thing he despised, it was being benched. "..fine.." he said getting up and stretching.
"Good luck mein friend." Kurt said with a smile as he teleported playfully surpassing some of the kids playing kick ball.
Y/n walked towards the headmasters office with with annoyance, truthfully he wouldn't be this bent out of a shape to talk with Xavier or even cyke when he was running the place, but unfortunately the new head in charge and he had an odd dynamic.
