"Love, hindi pa ba tayo uuwi?" tanong niya kay Klio.
Nakahiga siya sa asawa habang nakasandal ito sa armrest ng sofa na nasa deck ng yate.
He took a sip of red wine from his own glass. "Dito na muna tayo. I had this yacht rented until tomorrow afternoon. Saka may mga supply naman tayo ng pagkain dito at may matutulugan."
"Okay..." aniya't hinaplos ang braso nitong nakapatong sa tiyan niya.
She took a sip from her own glass or wine.
"Want a refill?" anang asawa.
"Sure, thanks..."
She watched as the red liquid glistened from the dim light on the deck and dances inside the wine glass.
Sinimsim niya iyon matapos magsalin ng asawa.
"Don't drink too much," paalala nito sa kanya.
"I won't..." sagot niya't hinaplos ulit ang braso nito.
She looked at the starry sky above while savoring the moment of being inside her husband's arms.
"Ang daming bituin, 'di ba?" ani Klio sa likod niya.
She tilted her head to throw him a glance then returned her eyes to the night sky.
"It's beautiful, Kley..."
"This is why I rented the yacht overnight. So we can watch the starry night sky together. Maganda kasi rito. Malayo sa city lights kaya kitang-kita ang mga bituin."
"In fairness sa 'yo, love, ha. Ang gaganda ng pakulo mo sa bakasyon natin, ha..."
Ibinaba nito ang mga wine glass nila at ipinatong sa mesa.
Pinaupo siya nito at niyakap. "Gusto ko lang na mag-enjoy ka sa honeymoon natin..."
"I do..." aniyang nilingon ito at hinalikan sa pisngi.
"Is there a place you want to visit tomorrow?"
"Nothing in particular. Ikaw, kung saan mo gusto..."
"When I get back to the camp, invite some of your friends to come over sometimes so you'll have someone to be with while I'm away."
"Sinong friends?"
"Your college friends. That one's you had a friendship pact with?"
"Oh... I'll see about them. Matagal na kasi kaming hindi nagkakasama-sama, eh. 'You know, we took different paths after our graduation."
"I would want to meet them sometimes."
"Okay. I'll let them know."
"Okay."
Nagsumiksik siya sa asawa nang umihip ang malamig na hangin.
"Are you cold?"
Tumango siya.
"Gusto mo na bang pumasok sa loob?
She shook her head. "The moment feels so nice in here, I don't want to ruin it, Kley. Yakap mo naman ako, eh. Your body heat will do."
"Unless you want to be heated by something else..." bulong nito.
Natatawang hinampas niya ang braso ng asawa. "Nakakailan na tayo mula nang tumuntong tayo sa yateng 'to kaninang umaga, Kley."
"So?" anito't hinawi ang buhok niya papunta sa kabilang balikat.
"You may want to take a break?"
"Aren't we in our honeymoon?"
"We are. Pero baka naman gusto mo akong pagpahingahin?"
"Well, I'm not saying you'll be the one who'll take charge again," sagot nito't hinalikan ang balikan niya. "Stay put and I'll show you how one makes love to a queen..."
"Talaga lang, ha?" natatawang sagot niya sa lalaki.
"Watch out..." he whispered in a husky voice and brought his lips to her neck.
"Kley..." aniya sa asawa nang makiliti dahil nagsimula nang maglakbay ang mga labi nito.
"Yes?"
"I'm serious..." sagot niya sa asawa't humarap dito. "Can we take a rest tonight?"
Tinitigan siya nito ng ilang sandali bago bumuntong-hininga. "Why?"
"Masyado kasi akong napagod sa mga ginawa natin buong araw. Swimming, stuffs, and you know..."
Sumandal ulit ang asawa sa armrest. "No problem," anito't kinuha ulit ang mga braso nila. "Pero sa susunod, hindi ka na p'wedeng tumanggi."
She leaned over and planted a kiss on his lips. "Okay... I wanna ask you about something, 'though," aniya't sumandal paharap sa dibdib ng asawa. "Can I go and visit a friend?
"Kailan?"
"Some time around next week maybe?" she said and caressed his chest.
"Saan?" tanong nito't uminom ng wine.
"Hindi ko pa alam, eh..."
"Bakit hindi mo pa alam?"
"Wala pa kasi akong update kung saan sila lumipat ng family niya, eh."
"Babae na 'yan o lalaki?"
"Babae, of course..." sagot niya.
"Mabuti naman kung gano'n."
"So, payag ka?"
He looked at her over the rim of his glass. "Convince me."
"Kley naman, eh..." natatawang sabi niya sa asawa.
He shrugged his shoulders. "Well, I am not that hard to convince..."
"I thought you agreed we won't make love tonight?" aniya nang makuha ang ipinupunto ng asawa.
"Well, you're asking something from me so I changed my mind."
"Kley, naman, eh..."
"Time is running..." anito't muling sumimsim sa braso.
She pouted her lips and think about his condition.
Nang akmang iinom na ulit ito sa braso, inagaw niya iyon sa asawa at dahan-dahang ibinuhos ang natitirang wine sa dibdib nito.
Ipinatong nito ang mga braso sa armrest ng sofa at naghintay sa susunod niyang gagawin.
She didn't make him wait that long. She slowly traced the path of the wine with her tongue, starting from his lower ab to his chest.
Her husband watched her without saying a word. She knew he knew she won't disappoint.
