i swipe the arcade card, going the same to olivia's machine. "ready to get smashed?" i ask her, the basketballs rolling down. "honestly, yes," olivia giggles. i pick up one of the basketballs, shooting it into the hoop. it swiftly goes in as i pick up another ball.

i glance over at olivia's hoop before i shoot, seeing her miss the rim. "this isn't fair. you play football," olivia giggles. "what does that have to do with basketball? it's a totally different sport," i laugh, shooting the ball. it hits the rim, bouncing into the hoop. "you use your arms," olivia says. i laugh again, shaking my head, "excuses."

after an hour of arcade games, i drive olivia home with one hand in her lap, intertwined with her hand.

i get out of the car once i drive up olivia's driveway. i jog around to the side, opening olivia's door. "thank you," she giggles, getting out. "do your feet hurt?" i ask, looking down at her heels. "not really. they're short heels, so it's okay," she says, and i close the door of the car.

i walk to olivia's door, facing her. she smiles at me, "tonight was amazing, y/n." "i think so, too," i say. her arms go around the back of my neck, hugging me tight. i close my eyes, smelling olivia's perfume she sprayed on her neck as i hug her back.

she pulls her top half away from me, moving her face opposite mine. i place my hands on her waist, and i smile as i lean in.

my eyes close as i tilt my head to the side, lips parting. i capture olivia lips with mine, and we get into a slow rhythm, kissing until our breaths run out.

olivia pulls away first, smiling as she catches her breath. i smile, closing my eyes as olivia gives me another kiss that lasts maybe a long second or two. "thank you for today," she says, lips almost pressed on mine. "any time," i whisper, before kissing her one more time.

olivia unlocks her door, taking a step in. i watch as she turns around, keeping the smile on her face. "call me when you're home?" she asks. "of course," i smile. "drive safe, y/n," she says, "thank you for tonight."

i walk to my car, smiling widely as i get in.

i quickly take out my phone and pressing my lips together as i call conan, iris and madison. i smile widely as i run upstairs, into my room.

"shit- y/n's facetiming me," i say to them. "alright, go talk to your girlfriend," conan says, laughing. "she's not my girlfriend yet," i giggle, "alright, bye guys!" "congrats!" iris says. "finally got your girl!" madison exclaims, making me laugh as i hang up.

"hi y/n," i smile as i accept. "hey liv," y/n smiles too. i giggle as i don't know what to say, making y/n laugh. "how are you? what're you doing?" she asks. "i'm great. just laying here, talking to you," i say, "you?" "laying here, talking to you," y/n says, "i don't think i'll be able to act distant with you at school after tonight." "oh, neither," i laugh. "good," she says, "i can't wait to see you tomorrow." i smile at how obsessed y/n was with me, like i was with her, "well... you can always pick me up and see me sooner." y/n laughs, "i was just about to ask if i could pick you up!"

y/n and i walk into school, and i ignore the looks some people gave. "are we able to talk to my friends for a second?" she asks me. "yeah, of course," i smile.

we walk up to y/n's friends. "hey gang," y/n says as scarlett hugs y/n with a laugh, before looking at me. "hey, guys," i smile at them. i laugh as jess pulls me in for a hug.

we walk away from them after taking for around five minutes. i look down at y/n's hand, and i wrap my hand around her pinky. y/n looks at her hand, looking at me and smiling. honestly, i didn't even care that people were looking.
