two weeks into senior year olivia walks into the gym, following conan. olivia never goes to any school sport games, or sport games in general. but as it was her last year of high school, she figured she'd try to go to as much as possible.
olivia sits beside conan. olivia glances at the cheer team, who stood in a circle. she keeps her eyes on madison, captain of the cheer team.
the cheer team start to do their performance, and olivia watches them in silence as everyone cheers.
olivia swallows as she watches madison, in her cheer outfit, holding matching pom poms. madison keeps her eyes fixed on someone, smiling and waving her hand with the pom pom.

olivia already knew who she was waving to, but she turns around anyways.
y/n garcia smiles, flustered by madison. honestly, olivia would be too. it's like the universe just decided to show off when it made her.
olivia had heard from pretty much everyone that madison beer and y/n garcia were talking. they've been talking for around a month, and it was pretty obvious they were something, but a lot of people have asked if they're together but they deny it.
olivia then faces the front again, continuing to watch the performance.
olivia stands up after the game ends, her school's basketball team losing by a few points. not a great start.
she sees y/n walk down the bleachers, then madison looking over her friends' shoulder and seeing y/n. she smiles, giving her friend a hug before walking past. y/n says something before she hugs madison tightly, madison laughing as y/n picks her up and swings her around. they were cute, everyone knew they were.
y/n garcia was the captain and quarterback of los angeles high school. she was incredibly good, she and her team had beat the school record for the amount of wins in a football season their last season, and they plan to beat it this season.
y/n just wasn't good at sport, she was really smart. she put the effort into everything she did, and olivia guess that y/n would put just as much effort into madison.
despite the both of them being in the most popular friend group, they were both really nice. sure, some of their friends were... questionable, but nonetheless, y/n and madison were both very well mannered.
everyone went crazy when the star of the football team and captain of the cheer team were together, well, talking. it was like a wattpad book.
olivia and her friends weren't very popular, but they were known. they didn't want to be popular. olivia was a good student. smart, too. she didn't even know if madison and y/n know who she was, even though she had multiple classes with them.
olivia and conan walk out to conan's car, and she sees y/n and madison walking through the car park. the more she heard people talk about them, the more she saw the two girls.
