olivia smiles as she talks to conan as they have lunch the next day. "and then we said our goodbyes when i got in my car," olivia continues, "then... yeah. she told me to get home safe, i told her back... then i left." "that's so cool, liv," conan laughs, "next time, invite me!" "if there is a next time," olivia smiles, "and i... definitely didn't stalk her spider-woman account and her personal account and thought about her before bed." "um... thought about her before bed? in which way?" conan asks, smirking. "god, conan, not like that!" olivia laughs, "i just... don't think that i'm gonna see her again. i should've been more grateful for it at the time and let it sink in, although i do know that i was at the time." "why don't you just message her on instagram?" conan asks. "because... well, i've followed her for forever- only on her spider-woman account," olivia explains, "maybe i should follow her on her personal account." it wasn't so personal, really. it had millions of followers, more than olivia's following. by the time y/n could even check her phone after her identity was revealed, it was way too late to change her account to private.
"then follow her, idiot," conan smiles. "but what if she doesn't follow back? i'll look desperate," olivia says. "you are desperate," conan tells olivia the harsh truth. "i am not! i'm just... i don't know," olivia sighs in defeat, "she's, like, way too out of my league. the one person i probably couldn't get. spider-woman, are you kidding?" "well if you say that, no one's really in her league," conan says, "you're the closest she'll get, liv! she doesn't follow you back, does she?" "thanks, conan," olivia smiles faintly, "no, she doesn't. she doesn't follow anyone on her spider-woman account. should i follow her now?"
y/n gets out of the shower, wrapping her towel around her body, picking up her phone. she raises her eyebrow at the notification that stood out.

oliviarodrigo started following you.___________
y/n taps onto the notification, briefly scrolling through olivia rodrigo's account. she turns off her phone, getting changed.
it's been almost five hours since olivia followed y/n, with no follow back. conan was at olivia's piano, playing a soft tune. olivia on the couch, near the piano. olivia was stalking y/n's following on her personal account. "well... she doesn't follow many celebrities," olivia says, seeing that she only followed a little more than a hundred people. "well... you guys had a nice chat. i'm sure she doesn't give a shit if you're a celebrity, she's spider-woman." "well, that's true," olivia says, glancing at the top of her screen. her eyes widen as she sees that y/n had followed her back.
two weeks later, olivia found herself sat at the edge of the building again. she's been here a lot, but still no sign of y/n. she may or may not have been here a lot more times than usual, just to see if y/n would be here. but... she was still disappointed. until this night.
olivia sat by herself, taking a deep breath as she holds her matcha latte that was warming her hands up. olivia hears a quick, satisfying sound, looking up and to the right. she smiles widely as she sees y/n start to swing past her.
y/n glances at the rooftop she hasn't been to in a while. her eyes widen as she sees olivia smiling at her. her lips were curved as much as they could, her leaning back on her hands. y/n quickly redirects her swing, making her way to olivia.
y/n smoothly steps onto the edge of the building, looking down at olivia. "you seem lonely," y/n says. "yeah," olivia sighs, smiling as y/n sits beside her. "how are you?" y/n asks, "haven't talked in a bit."
