1 week later
y/n hugs her dad, sitting beside him on the couch. "how was school, y/n?" he asks. "good," y/n answers, "how're you feeling?" "better," dad smiles, "better." y/n smiles, "i'm really happy to hear it."

y/n looks around olivia's room as she sits on her chair, olivia doing a practice question y/n gave her. she sees a guitar and piano in her room. "do you play more piano or guitar?" y/n asks, looking at olivia. "piano," olivia says, "still practicing guitar and learning about it." "play me something?" y/n asks, "as payment for all this." "right now?" olivia asks, looking at her with a smile. "after this question," y/n says. "but i'm scared," olivia laughs, "it's so intimate."

"well... i can face the other way," y/n suggests. "that's awkward," olivia says, "no! that's scary. i don't wanna play a song in front of you." "why?" y/n asks, "i thought you were good!" "i think i'm good! what if you don't think i'm good?"  olivia asks. "well i guess we'll have to find out," y/n smiles.

olivia smiles, shaking her head as she looks at the paper. "no, you don't have to," y/n says, looking at the paper as olivia starts to doodle things on it. "no, i don't think you'll judge," olivia says, "i'll do it." "are you sure? you don't have to if you don't want to," y/n says. "i want to," olivia looks at y/n's hand as it reaches over to hers.

she places her hand on top of olivia, dragging her hand down to olivia's un-finished working out for the question. "time's ticking, olivia," she takes her hand off, leaning back on the chair. olivia smiles, starting the gears in her brain.

"good job," y/n tells olivia after she reads her work, "you're getting the hang of it now." "looks like it," olivia places her pen down, looking at y/n. "ready?" y/n asks.

y/n shuffles her chair to sit beside olivia as olivia sits on her piano stool. y/n faces her chair to face inwards to olivia, and olivia looks at her. "what're you gonna be playing, spy?" y/n asks, crossing her arms. "the russian anthem," olivia says, making y/n smile, lightly pushing olivia's shoulder.

olivia laughs, "kidding. i'll do an original, just for you." "wow," y/n raises her eyebrows, nodding, "impressed alright. let's hear it, olivia."

olivia starts to play a song called 'drivers license', and for four minutes, y/n listened olivia's singing, admiring her.

y/n claps after olivia ends, and olivia looks at y/n, smiling with her face slightly red. "god, that was great, liv!" y/n exclaims, "holy shit, why were you so nervous? that was amazing." olivia laughs, "thank you, y/n."

y/n and olivia continue watching avatar the last airbender. "hey, olivia?" y/n asks. "yeah?" olivia says back. she was a little scared for what y/n was gonna say next. y/n didn't talk as much as olivia did. y/n said that she would prefer to listen to olivia talk.

"do you have your license?" y/n asks. olivia chuckles, realizing she was linking it to the song she played her, "no, i don't, actually." "you don't?" y/n looks at her. "no, i know, everyone says that," olivia says, "i'm just scared to drive." "scared of other drivers or you?" y/n asks. "both," olivia says. "well, it's fun. i think you'd really like it, actually," y/n says. "yeah?" olivia smiles. "yeah. i can take you driving one day," y/n says. olivia laughs, "i don't know about that." "you'll love it," y/n says, "just have a think about it. i'd be happy to take you."

a week later, olivia was in y/n's car, sitting in the passenger as y/n starts to drive out of olivia's driveway. "i'm so nervous," olivia admits, chuckling. "it's okay," y/n says, "i'll take you somewhere where there's no cars." "gonna murder me?" olivia jokes. "no, you know russians. got connections everywhere. they'd kill me after," y/n says, making olivia laugh.
