Chapa's POV:

I actually couldn't wait until next month to perform a song in front of the whole school for graduation. I felt more excited than anybody else to show our talents. I also couldn't believe that in one month, we would be saying goodbye to each other and to the whole school.

What I was sad about, and I don't get sad a lot (except for watching soap commercials), was that after graduation, I wouldn't be able to see Bose as much anymore. I've been wanting to tell him something a long time ago, but I've never had the courage to do so.

But that's all gonna change. After graduation, I'm gonna tell him.

Right now, it's 15 minutes until the last bell rings, and my teacher says we have the rest of the time to do what we wanted, which was completely fine by me.

I opened my music app to the song Bose wanted us all to practice, put my headphones on and my head down on my desk. Then, I started to get the feeling that I should be careful in case Bose tries to tie my boot laces together again. Yeah, that's right: again. He did it one other time on April Fool's Day, and after he admitted it was him, I wanted to get him back, but for some reason, I couldn't.

Anyway, I decided that the best way to avoid that is to take my boots off for the time being, and to let my feet breathe for a little bit, considering they've been stuffed into these leather prisons all day. I just hope nobody tells me to put them back on, cause I do not like being told what to do in some cases.

Okay, I'm getting a little sidetracked here. As I was saying earlier, I put my head down on my desk and let the song fill me with relaxation. I might've actually fallen asleep for a bit, cause all of a sudden...

RRRRRRING

The noise of the final bell did startle me a little bit, but I'm not gonna tell anybody that. I was in such a hurry to leave this place for the weekend that I almost forgot I was just in socks right now, and I didn't feel like staying there for an extra few seconds to put them back on, so I just carried them out with me.

Some people in the hallways were looking at me weird, but I paid no attention and just kept walking with my music still playing. Once I got outside, I sat on a bench and put my boots back on. As I was doing so, I heard Bose's voice.

Bose: "Chapa!"

I looked over and saw Bose waving at me. I waved back as he came and sat next to me. He notices what I'm doing.

Bose: "You have something stuck in your shoe?"

Me: "Oh, no... this was just so you didn't try to get me again."

Bose: "Like how I did on April Fool's Day?"

Me: "Exactly."

Bose: "Well, I only did it to impress you."

I couldn't help but slightly giggle.

Me: "I'll admit, it was a little impressive, and you did do a good job at not waking me up while you were tying my laces together."

Bose: "Yeah, and I only had so little time to do it cause it was only a brief moment that nobody was looking."

Me: "Fair."
