Bose's POV:

Graduation day is finally here!

I was more excited than any other day to get out of bed this morning. Actually, to be completely honest, the only other thing that makes getting up in the morning worth it at all is Chapa. She's the person who makes my life worth living, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Speaking of Chapa, it was just then, I get a text from her on my phone. I red through it, and it said...

Chapa

Morning, Bosey. How'd you sleep?

I smiled when I read it, then I replied...

Morning, Chapa. I slept pretty well, thank you for asking

Did you have any dreams?

Yes I did, and because you were in them, they were really good

Aww 🥰🥰

I can't wait for us to perform in front of the crowd. We're gonna blow them away

We sure are

I'll be at your place in about an hour and I'll help with putting the equipment in my car

Wait, in your car? I don't think the Honda will fit everything

Hehe, just you wait, Bosey

lol, okay, can't wait, gotta get ready, see you in an hour, love you

Love you, too, byeeee

That was the end of our conversation, so I got ready for the day. I put on some new clothes, made myself some breakfast, then did everything else to get ready. We made sure we knew to get to the school early to set up the equipment, and we actually didn't have to stay. Later on in the day is when the actual ceremony would happen.

Anyway, an hour had passed, so I decided to stand outside and wait for Chapa to approach. I looked around, then I saw this big, dark red SUV. It looked like the newest model of Ford Expedition. That must be Chapa, I thought.

When the car pulled into the driveway, Chapa got out and ran towards me. I picked her up and hugged her, then set her down.

Chapa: "What do you think?"

Me: "That car looks amazing, Chapa. How long have you have it?"

Chapa: "Mmm, a few months, but I wanted to surprise you."

Me: "Well, I like surprises."

Chapa giggles.

Chapa: "So, shall we get everything inside?"

Me: "We shall."

I lead Chapa into my house, then down the basement. I had laid everything out about twenty minutes before, and I had the instruments in their cases. I had the individual pieces of the drums in separate boxes to make it easier. I explained that to Chapa because she looked confused by the extra boxes.
