End Of Beginning (Part 1)

Bose wants himself and his friends to do something special for their High School graduation, and he comes up with the perfect idea.

Also, this is as if they're just living normal lives without superpowers or being superheroes.

Btw... this will be the final chapter for this book.

Bose's POV:

Well, I never thought I'd be the one to see this coming: a month from now, all of us will be graduating from High School. I'm honestly surprised I made it this far, because as we all know, I'm not the smartest, but thanks to my friends helping me along the way, I'm glad to say I'll be graduating with them.

Something else that I've been thinking about for a while: I want to do something special in honor of our graduation. I can't do it alone, of course, I would need help. First, I would need to get my friends to do it with me, then we would need to go to the teachers, or whoever is part of setting up the whole ceremony, and offer them the idea.

It might seem like a long shot, but it's worth a try.

The Next Day

Right now, I'm in front of the principal's office. I'm a little nervous to pitch him my idea in case he says "no." But... here goes nothing.

*knock knock*

The principal looks up and sees me.

Principal: "Bose, hi. Come on in."

I slowly make my way in.

Me: "Hello, sir."

Principal: "So, what can I help you with today?"

I take a deep breath.

Me: "Well... it's about graduation."

Principal: "What about it?"

Me: "Umm... I actually have an idea for graduation, and I want it to be extra special, considering that us seniors only have a month left until we say goodbye to this place."

Principal: "Oh, yeah, of course. I'm always open to any ideas."

Me: "Alright, well... for graduation, I want to get me and some of my friends together and... perform a song for the end of ceremony. Think of it as a... a tribute of some sort."

The principal thinks it over for a moment.

Principal: "I like the way you're thinking there, Bose."

Me: "Oh, I'm not thinking at all. That's my secret to almost everything."

Principal: *chuckles* "Right. So, have you thought about what song you wanted you and your friends to play for the school?"

Me: "I sure have. I want us to perform End Of Beginning by the band known as Djo."

Principal: "Oh, that's a really good song."

Me: "Sure is, and you don't even have to worry about instruments and all that, cause I'm gonna bring it all straight from my house."

Principal: "That's a very good idea. Let me just run that by the board and I'll get back to you by tomorrow."

Me: "Wonderful to hear, sir. Thank you for your time."

I say as I stand up.

Principal: "Anytime, have a good rest of your day."

Me: "You as well."

I walk out of the room. After school, I was met with the principal again, and he said that my idea was approved. I thank him for telling me, and when I got home, I was all excited. I call up Chapa, Mika, Miles and Buddy to my place. They all arrived a little bit after at once, as Chapa picked them up in her car.
