Mission (Part 1)

Chapa has had it with Mika after she crosses the line, so Chapa decides to... make things right.

Chapa's POV:

All of us are in the S.W.A.G. classroom right now, listening to another one of Ray's pointless lessons on how to fight a bad guy. Like, bitch, I don't need you to tell me how to fight.

Just then, the crime alert goes off.

Mika: "No time to waste! Everybody upstairs!"

Okay... no one asked for you to be the leader, Mika.

She pushes the button on her chair and goes up. The rest of us follow her while Ray goes up a flight of stairs. When we make it up to the Man's Nest, Mika is already looking to see what the crime is.

Mika: "Looks like the Time Jerker is trying to hold Swellview Bank hostage with another time device."

Ray: "Another one?! *sigh* Well, we got to get down there."

Mika: "Right. Danger Force, let's blow and go!"

Mika, shut up! You are not the boss of us!

We all change into Danger Force, and Miles teleports us to the bank. When we get there, the Time Jerker turns around and sees us.

Time Jerker: "Ahh, there's Danger Force. I figured you'd be running on time."

Captain Man: "Save it, Time Jerker. Your time is up."

Time Jerker: "I think not. I have a new device here, and it's unstoppable."

He laughs evilly. I'm about to quip something, but Mika beats me to it.

Shout-Out: "Hope you brought your clock, cause it's about to get punched out!"

Goddamn it, Mika! Why do you have to ruin everything for me?! Before I could do anything else, Mika super-screams the Time Jerker to the ground, while Bose lifts the time device from the Time Jerker's hands. Really, Bose? Why are you working with Mika? Am I not good enough to work with?

Anyway, at first opportunity, I zap the time device to pieces. To finish the moment, Miles teleports the Time Jerker to Swellview prison. He comes back sometime later.

AWOL: "Let's get out of here."

We all teleport back to the Man's Nest and change to our normal clothes.

Ray: "Well, I'm gonna go take a bath."

I make a disgusted face.

Me: "Thank you for that... gross image."

Ray: "It's just a bath."

Miles: "I gotta go, too."

Bose: "Yeah, Miles and I have a video game tournament to finish."

Me: "Can I tag along? I wanna see who wins."

Bose: "Sure. I don't see why not."

It made me smile that Bose was letting me come, and I think I felt my cheeks begin to heat up, but that all goes away when I hear the familiar voice.

Mika: "Not so fast, guys. We gotta go over some of the ideas of remodelling this place."

Ray: "Ah, bullfish. This place is fine."

Mika: "Is it, though? I feel like it needs to be more... I don't know, jazzed up. It would really help us out."

I couldn't take it anymore.

Me: "You know what would really help us out, Mika?! If you shut your fucking mouth once in a while and stop acting like you're the boss of all of us!"

Everybody else gasps at my remark. Mika brings her hand up to her chest on offense.

Mika: "Well, excuse me for wanting to be responsible."

Me: "I will never excuse you for that! Just because you might be the smartest one here-"

Ray: "Second smartest."

I zap Ray to shut him up.

Ray: "AHH!"

Me: *to Mika* "-does not mean that you have keep ordering us around like this!"

Mika: "Oh, and I suppose you'd be so much better as leader?!"

Me: "I'd be a thousand times better than you!"

Mika: "You'd be worse! All you ever wanna do is hurt people! You've been like that ever since your phone got stolen! If my phone ever got stolen, I'd just buy a new one, which you should've done a long time ago, cause if you did, you'd be a lot less violent with other people!"

I was silent for a bit, then I started again.

Me: "Okay, first of all, where the fuck have you been? My phone was returned to me! Second of all, I cared very much about that phone! It stole my innocence, my joy, and it ruined my life!"

Mika: "NOBODY CARES!"

She did not just...

Mika: "NOBODY GIVES A FUCK ABOUT YOUR STUPID PHONE! IF ANYTHING, IT WAS YOUR OWN FAULT THAT IT GOT STOLEN IN THE FIRST PLACE! YOU'RE THE ONE WHO GAVE IT TO BOSE WHEN HE WANTED TO CHAT WITH A PUPPY!"

I tried to contain my rage by taking a deep breath.

Me: "At least Bose tried to return it to me before his mom dragged him away with it."

Mika: "Yeah?! Well, because of all that, YOU threatened to destroy MY phone when I refused to let Wast-E tell you where he found it! You went too far, you nearly traumatized me!"

Me: "My phone is more important than yours!"

*SLAP*

Everyone became dead silent, you could hear a pin drop. I held the side of my face, fighting back tears.

Mika: "JUST SHUT UP ALREADY ABOUT YOUR STUPID PHONE! IT'S A WONDER RAY NEVER CARED ABOUT IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! YOU MADE IT EVERYBODY ELSE'S PROBLEM BECAUSE YOU REFUSED TO CONTROL YOUR RAGE OVER IT GETTING STOLEN! YOU EVER BRING UP YOUR PHONE AGAIN, AND I SWEAR TO GOD, I WILL RAM THAT FUCKING THING UP YOUR GODDAMN ASS!"

I didn't know what else to say. I was still trying to fight back tears.

Mika: "Oh, what's wrong? You gonna cry? Well, go ahead. Everybody's watching you!"

I looked away.

Me: *voice crack* "I don't know what you're talking about."

I felt Bose's arms wrap around me. I start to let it all out, burying my face in his shoulder while wrapping my arms around him. He softly shushes my sobs, whispering soothing messages while rubbing my back. Mika still wasn't finished, though.

Mika: "You try to ruin our lives, I'm gonna ruin yours!"

Mika pulls Bose away from me. When I look up, I see something that officially made her cross the line.

She kisses him.

Bose tries to pull away, but Mika refuses to let him go. I felt my rage slowly boil up to a max inside. Eventually, Mika pulls away. She looks at me with a smug look.

Mika: "There, now we're even."

Mika leaves while laughing victoriously to herself at what she had done. Ray and Miles end up leaving, too. Bose and I are the only two in the main room right now. I look over at Bose, and I see his face fill with rage. He looks over at me.

He motions for me to follow him, and we go to his locker. When he opens it, he pulls out a knife. I was genuinely shocked, because of all people, I never expected Bose to have such a dangerous weapon. Suddenly, he says something to me in a voice I've never heard him speak in, and at the same time, he hands me that knife.

Bose: "Kill that bitch... for me."

I took the knife, and I nodded.
