Bose's POV:

It is early morning in the Man's Nest. Ray is about to have us do some cleaning, since he can't be bothered to do it himself, and he's even roped Schwoz to do this. Before he has us start, he notices something.

Ray: "Wait a minute, where's Chapa? She's supposed to be here."

I check my phone.

Me: "She hasn't responded to my texts lately."

Schwoz: "Do you think something could have happened to her?"

Mika: "Maybe, but you know Chapa. She likes to play like her own rules."

Miles: "Yeah, she probably slept in late."

Suddenly, Chapa walks in, looking different. She's dressed in all black.

Me: "There she is!"

Chapa looks at me.

Chapa: "Hello, Bose. Everyone."

Ray: "You wanna explain to me why you're late?"

Seriously, Ray? Already starting with the questions?

Chapa: "My apologies, o' indestructible one. I seem to have lost track of time."

Mika: "See? That's just Chapa, not wanting to pay attention to time."

I go over to give Chapa a hug. She doesn't do anything at first, then slowly returns it. We pull away after a bit.

Me: "It's so good to see you again, Chapa."

Chapa: "The feeling is quite mutual."

Chapa begins to smile and chuckle evilly. I was a bit surprised, but that's just Chapa being Chapa.

Me: "Lovin' the fit, by the way. Black is definitely your color. Straight down to the boots. I mean, wow."

Everyone else seems to agree.

Schwoz: "Guys? Doesn't this seem a little bit off to any of you?"

Miles: "It's Chapa, man. It can't be anymore off than usual."

Ray: "Yeah, come on, Schwoz. Don't be a worry whale."

Schwoz doesn't say anything, seemingly not able to come up with a possible reason for Chapa's sudden personality change.

Ray: "Any-Ray, since Chapa's here, now you can all start cleaning this place."

We all groan, except Chapa.

Later

No One's POV:

At night, Ray is the only one in the Man's Nest main room. He's about to watch something on TV, but just then, Chapa comes in, slightly startling Ray.

Ray: "Ah! Oh, hey, Chapa. You scared me for a bit. What are you doing here?"

Chapa: "I thought I'd come to give you a little something."

Ray: "Aww, for me? What is it?"

Chapa: "Call it a 'going away for good' present."

Chapa starts shooting black lightning streaks from her hands. Ray ducks out of the way just in time.

Ray: "Chapa, what the hell are you doing?! This is so unlike you!"

Chapa: "Oh, I'm just getting started."
