🌹ROSE🌹
What just happened?
I turned around and watched as CJ is walking away.
I am literally dumbfounded right now.
That didn't just happen.
"Rosy," i heard Joey's familiar voice, making me turn to him.
"What just happened?" He asked.
I shrugged, confused to the least.
"He actually smiled at me." I said, feeling my heart banging.
"I saw that." He said.
"What does that mean?!" I panicked.
"I don't know. Come on, let's go to class." He said, taking my hand and leading the way to class.
I turned back to CJ. He is out of sight. My heart pounded incredibly fast.
The way he smiled at me was surprising and terrifying.
God, what does that mean?
Joey and I walked into the class. The class is scanty. There are a few student seated and some are playing around and chatting with one another.
They all stared at me the minute I entered.
My heart picked up.
Oh gosh.
"What are you all looking at?!" Joey asked.
They chuckled.
I dropped my gaze as Joey pulled my hand, heading towards the our seat.
"Mummy's little girl," Dahlia mocked as we walked past her.
"Ignore the swine." Joey said to me as he walked ahead.
"Shut up, Joey," Dahlia snapped.
"Make me," Joey said to her as we got to the back seat.
"Sit here," he said, motioning to the seat close to the windows and second to the last seat.
"Isn't that your sitting spot?" I asked.
"Yes. But I don't know what CJ is up to. I don't want you sitting at the back. Sit here and I will sit behind." He said.
My heart melted but I am paranoid about what CJ did earlier.
"And we have Math in few minutes." He said as I moved towards the seat and sat on it. Joey sat on his as well.
"Thank you. But I don't get it, Joe Joe. What is he planning to do to me?" I asked as I placed my books on the desk.
"I don't know. But I think it is going to be terrible." He said.
My heart skipped a beat the sound of terrible.
"What am I going to do?" I asked worriedly.
Joey leaned closer. "I heard that the new principal is his maternal grandfather." He said.
I froze.
Joey nodded.
"His maternal grandfather?" I asked.
"Yes," he said.
Oh boy.
"Yesterday, he did a lot of things. He is totally different from principal Gramps and I think CJ is scared of him just like he is scared of the coach." He said.
I furrowed my brows. CJ's family are really taking over this school. He is really the king.
"I actually liked what you did though. You left right after the incident yesterday." Joey said.
