🌹ROSE🌹
I clenched the side of my dress as I stared at my supposed stepsisters. I can't believe they are in this school as well.
What are you saying, Rose? Of course they are in this school. Dad is very wealthy. This school is possibly where all wealthy kids in New York City go.
They are both dressed in a very expensive way and similar attires with expensive looking purses and heels. Their hairs is left to fall and they have make up on. They are just similar to all the kids here. Wealthy and without worry of tomorrow.
"Wait a second, aren't you the beggar that came to house with her pathetic mother?" One of them, who is a bit taller asked, sending an ache to my heart after she called my mother pathetic.
Why is she calling my mother that?
"Yes, she is." The other one said.
"Oh, you both know her?" Dahlia asked.
"Yes," the taller one said. "She actually came to our house weeks ago with her pathetic mother and claimed to be our dad's daughter."
The pathetic again.
The other twin nodded in support.
"That's cheap ass fraud." Dahlia said mockingly.
"Exactly!" The twin said in unison.
I dropped my gaze.
"But what the hell is she even doing here though?" The other twin asked.
"Well, she is a scholarship student." Dahlia answered.
"The hell?" The taller twin asked.
"Yeah, she resumed yesterday. You know, you both were away for your family vacation." Dahlia said, making me look at them.
"Yes, it was a splendid one. We actually got back yesterday." The other twin said, flipping her hair proudly.
The taller twin scoffed. "I don't understand this school anymore. How could they give someone like you a scholarship?" She asked, staring at me with pure irritation.
Dahlia scoffed.
"Right, Barbara? People like her doesn't deserve to be here. This is a prestigious school for pit's sake." The other twin said.
"Tell that to the management. They seem to have a nut in their heads and it makes them give undeserving people the privilege to study among us." Dahlia said.
The other twin scoffed. "They really need to be queried for this. Or better still, let's talk to CJ about it and get them fired."
I arched my brows slightly.
Dahlia chuckled. "I know, right?"
The taller twin walked closer to me and instantly felt intimidated.
"Let me make it clear, slimy beggar of a pathetic mother," she spat.
My heart clenched.
"Let's say you got lucky and got the scholarship to study here but take this one thing and lock it up in your poverty brain. You will never be accepted by our dad as his daughter." She said.
I felt a sharp pain in my heart after she said that.
"You are not even his daughter so stay far away from my sister and i because we are going to ruin your life you try coming an inch close to us." She said.
"Your heard that, right?" The other twin asked.
I didn't respond but stared at them with my brimming eyes. I don't even plan on going anywhere near them.
