🌹ROSE🌹
I clenched the stick of the mop as we kept staring at each other. I don't know what to feel at the moment but he seems pretty upset.
That man must have done a terrible thing to him.
He was about to say something to me when the woman that is always with him, walked out of the office and called him.
"Sir, you have a call from Sea Best company." She said.
He heaved a sigh and walked back to his office.
She sighed as well and turned to me.
I dropped my gaze, moving the mop a little on the floor.
"Hey, you," she called, making me look at her.
"Go clean somewhere else." She ordered.
I farrowed my brows at her.
"Didn't you hear me?" She asked.
"But, I was sent to clean....."
"Don't make me repeat myself." She said.
I nodded and picked up the bucket. I walked back to the elevator and I sensed her walking back into the office.
I heaved a sigh.
She doesn't seem nice. But her glasses and decent dressing gave the opposite.
I shrugged slightly. Not everyone putting on glasses or decent dressing are nice.
Don't forget that, Rose.
The elevator doors opened and i walked into it. I pressed the button and the doors closed.
I thought about the angry look on the boss' face. He was really upset.
It gave me a weird feeling.
I wasn't like, scared but worried. The boss must have lost something very important for him be that furious.
I really wish to know.
I know how it feels to loose something. And he has every right to be upset.
Nice people do get upset. That's life.
I really wish I could ask him.
But no. I am nothing but a cleaner here and has no right to ask the boss about his business.
Even if I want to find a means to, that woman won't let me.
I think she is his secretary or something.
She might yell at me or get me fired. She seems to have the power to.
The elevator doors opened and I walked out of the elevator.
I think I am going to clean some other place like she said or wait somewhere.
I actually brought my books with me to study today's class but that will be after I do some work.
But where else will I clean?
I sighted Annie approaching. She seemed worked up and worried.
"Rose, I am glad to see you." She said, walking hastily towards me.
"Are you done cleaning?" She asked.
"Not really, but...."
"Okay, please come with me." She said before I could finish my sentence.
She took my hand and led the way back to the elevator.
We entered and she pressed the floor button before the doors closed.
