🌹ROSE🌹
The twins' mother laughed mockingly at my mum. My heart increased as I noticed some students looking at us.
"Look who we have here, the little impersonator's mother." The twins mother said.
"How dare you give your good for nothing daughter my husband's last name?!" She snapped.
"That's because she is his daughter!" Mum snapped back, surprising me.
And the twins' mother too. She raised her brows.
"She us his daughter. She is meant to take his last name. There is nothing you or your little brats here can do about it." Mum said, making them scoff.
"Who are you calling little brats, huh?" The twins' mother asked.
"Your daughters. You better warn them. You both should stay away from my child and stop troubling her or else I will...."
"What the hell will you do huh?" The twins mother retorted.
I held my mum's hand.
"You have nothing. You can't do anything. You can't even afford to pay her tuition. Instead you brought here under a cheap scholarship. Do you know how much I pay to keep my two daughters in this school? Do even have a freaking clue, you wretched woman from the damn slums."
"Call me whatever you want but I will not have you terrorize my daughter because of her rights. She is Nicholas Adams' daughter. None of you can change that, you hear me?!" Mum yelled.
"She is not our dad's daughter." Barbara chipped in.
"Shut up, little brat!" Mum snapped at her, making her flinch.
"Don't you dare yell at my daughter, stupid bitch!" The twins mother yelled at my mum.
"Don't yell at mine either." Mum retorted.
She scoffed.
"You are so petty, dragging a name that is not yours with a teenager. Aren't you ashamed of yourself?" Mum asked.
The twins' mother chuckled. "A name that is not mine? That's my husband's name. It is mine as well and no bastard from the slums will use it however she pleases."
Mum scoffed. "Oh, please, you are just bitter. I gave Nick a very intelligent and brilliant daughter. I bet your two brats will not be able to pass the tough scholarship exams like she did. They both look dumb!" Mum snapped.
I widened my eyes.
The twins and their mother gasped.
"Mum," i called, feeling scared already. Everyone are looking at us. They are even taking pictures. This is a huge scene right now.
Why did my mum have to come?! She actually followed me behind after I left the house.
"What the hell did you just say about my sweet girls?" The twins' mother asked.
"You heard me. Your daughters look dumb!" Mum snapped.
The twins' mother scoffed. "I am going to give you what you deserve." She threatened.
My heart pounded very fast.
"What are you going to do? Call the police and get us arrested?" Mum asked.
The twins' mother scoffed.
"Well, that's the dumbest thing you would do, Mrs Nicholas Adams." Mum said mockingly.
The twins' mother clenched her jaw.
"A DNA test result will paralyze your stupid move." Mum said, making my jaw drop.
