"You went out with her?" Ken, my best friend, asked. He is seated opposite my desk in my office and I am seated on my swivel seat.

"I took her out for lunch." I said, smiling a little as I recalled my time with Rose. It's been days but I still can't stop thinking about it ever since.

Her eyes.

Her smile.

Everything.

I loved everything.

"Dude, isn't she way younger you? You said she is seventeen, right?" Ken asked.

"She is. But eighteen in two months." I said.

He scoffed. "Are you trying to justify your actions?"

I furrowed my brows. "What do you mean?"

He raised his brows.

"Dude, it is just a lunch date. No big deal." I said.

"Right. A date, you say." He said, moving his head in a way that tells me what he is thinking.

"It is not like that. It is just a little outing. Okay, see it as a daddy taking a kid to get ice-cream or something." I said, heaving a sigh.

"Did you just say daddy?" He asked.

I nodded. "Yes."

"God, you are nasty." He said, making me furrow my brows in confusion.

"How am I....." I paused, realizing what he meant instantly.

He smirked.

"What the hell, Ken?!"

He chuckled.

"Get your head out of the gutters." I said.

"Swear you didn't think of that when you were with her." He dared.

Rose's lips came to my mind. Also the way she looked in that red dress. I almost had a bone.

God, that was illegal. A boner for a seventeen year old! I could get arrested for that.

"You did think of that." Ken said, snapping me off my thoughts.

"I didn't."

"Liar."

"Okay fine, let's say I thought of kissing her a little." I said.

He scoffed.

"She is so fucking beautiful. I wish she wasn't that young, man." I said, relaxing on my seat.

"Yeah. You would do ungodly things to her if she wasn't that young, wouldn't you?" He asked, wiggling his brows at me.

I scoffed. "Who is the actual nasty one between us?" I asked.

"Of course you would." He said, ignoring my question.

Yeah, I would. No doubt.

It took me a whole lot not to push everything on the table down and have her for lunch instead.

God, I really have to stop thinking about this. It is not right.

"Anyway, I am glad someone is making you happy. At least you are not filling my ears with how annoying your son is." Ken said, making me heave a sigh.

"You just had to bring him up." I said, leaning close to my laptop.

He shrugged. "Well, he is your son. You have to talk about him once in a while. If not all the time."
