No. She can't be real.

"Did you hear what I said?" She asked,

"What?"

"I said, I want you to come to my party. It is an all-pink party. You love pink, right?" She asked, giggling happily and proudly.

Wait, this can't be happening. She is not being real right now, is she?

"What is wrong?" She asked, shrugging.

"I don't.....i don't understand. Why are you inviting me?"

She huffed. "Why are you asking me that? Why wouldn't I invite you? You are my daughter."

I raised my brows.

She let out a laugh. "That was acting, ignore me, okay?"

I heaved a sigh, feeling weird already.

"But why would you ask that though? Aren't you my classmate?"

"I am but...."

"Okay, just because you are a scholarship kid and not at the same level as the rest of us doesn't mean I shouldn't invite you to my party, silly," she whined, hitting my arm slightly.

I faked a smile, still feeling weird and odd.

I am seriously not going to that party.

"I really want you to come," she said, pouting.

"Well, um, Jane, I would like to but I...."

"Is it about CJ?" She retorted.

Yes. It is.

"Don't worry. We broke up. I am actually over him already." She said, rolling her eyes.

Uh, no, I doubt if you are over him.

"So you don't have to worry, Rose. Like I said, let's put everything behind us and be good friends. The three of us." She said, making furrow my brows.

"The three of us?"

"Yes, you, myself and the queer....I mean uh, your friend, Joey." She said, smiling brightly.

"Oh,"

"Yeah. I already invited him though, so I hope to see you both tonight." She winked at me and walked away.

Did she say she had already invited Joey? He is not going to. I know that.

"Don't forget, it is a pink party," Jane announced as she walked out of the dressing room.

I scoffed slightly. She is up to something, right?

She definitely is.

"Alright, ladies, time to go backstage. Quickly!" one of the stage workers announced, making the girls hasten up with whatever they were doing. I quickly looked at myself one more time in the mirror.

"Break a leg, Juliet. This is your chance to perform." I said to myself, smiling happily. The first words I said made me recall the note in my locker.

My so-called secret admirer wrote that to me.

And I am beginning to get curious to know who my secret admirer is.

I shook my head, bringing back my focus.
