What is he doing here?

"You followed me here?" Mum asked him, looking furious.

"Claudia, listen, please..."

"No, get out!" Mum yelled, pointing at the entrance of our compound.

"Claudia, my love, please..."

"Your love? Are you nuts?" Mum asked.

You have got to be kidding me.

I still can't believe he is here and being all emotional all of a sudden.

They haven't even noticed my presence yet.

"I just want to talk to you. Just give me five minutes, please." He begged.

"No. Get lost, Nick. You are not welcome here." Mum snapped.

"Claudia...."

"My mother said you should leave." I retorted, making them look at me. Their faces twitched at the sight of me.

"Honey," mum called.

I didn't respond but stared at Nicolas. His face alone brings nothing but bad memories.

Bad memories of how he rejected me and kicked us out.

Of how he forced me to lose his stupid last name.

His face fell into a soft one. "Oh..."

"Leave, Mr Adams. We don't want you here." I said, feeling my anger building up.

"No, no, don't call me that, sweetie, I am...."

"Sweetie?" I retorted, making him heave a sigh.

"I am your father."

"I don't have a father," I retorted.

His face twitched. "Sandra, I...."

I scoffed, my heart clenching severely.

"My name is Rose!" I yelled, throwing the bottle of water at him, making him shield himself.

Mum walked towards me and held my shoulders.

"Rose," she called, but I ignored her.

"I am not your Sandra or Barbara! Go away and leave us alone! Go back to your family!" I cried.

He stared at me with emotions as tears rolled down my eyes.

"Go away!" I yelled.

"Leave, Nick. Now." Mum said, holding my shoulder.

He nodded and took steps back while looking at us. We watched as he entered his car and drove away.

I walked into the house as more tears flowed down my eyes.

"Honey," mum called, but I didn't stop walking till I got to my room. I lay on the bed as I thought about everything that happened in just one night.

The humiliation and that man showing his face here and calling me one of his twins' names.

I sobbed bitterly.

"Rose, sweetie," mum called and I sensed her presence in my room.

"I am sorry about that," she said.

"Why did he follow you here?" I asked without looking at her.

"He was at the center where we were having our party. He tried talking to me, but I didn't give him the chance to. I guess that is why he followed me here. I didn't know he was following me. I am sorry."
