"What is going on here, CJ?" Leila asked, looking at me.
CJ withdrew his hands from the wall where he trapped me, heaving a sigh.
"I asked a question!" Leila snapped.
"Yelling is not necessary, Leila," CJ said nonchalantly, making Leila scoff.
She looked at him. "Why were you that close to her, CJ?" She asked.
"Get out," he said, without looking at her.
Leila furrowed her brows. "Excuse me?"
CJ looked at me. "I said get out!" He yelled, making me flinch.
I quickly walked out of the cubicle, leaving them in their to kill each other or whatever.
I let out a relieving breath as I walked along the hallway. Thank goodness Leila interrupted.
My legs were shaking back there. I don't know what has gotten into me. Why did I speak to him like that? The courage was there when I was yelling at him, but the minute he dragged me into the cubicle, it was like the world was about to fall on me.
His eyes alone terrify me.
I am totally grateful Leila came along. I wonder how their argument is going.
I sucked my teeth as I got to my locker.
I shouldn't care about how their argument is going. They are a couple. Couples argue.
Especially couples who are demons and suit each other, like CJ and Leila.
I rolled my eyes, ignoring the weird feeling in my heart as I unlocked my locker.
Something came to my mind.
Wait, why did he ask me about Matt?
What does he.....
"Rosy!" Joey snapped, hugging me instantly, and I almost lost my balance.
"Joey, careful." I said as he released me.
"I am so sorry, girlfriend. I didn't mean to leave you at the party the other night. I am so sorry. Please please please, forgive me." He said worriedly, clasping his hands together.
"It's okay, Joey. You don't have to apologize. I understand. You were head over heels for Simon." I said, rolling my eyes as I turned to my locker.
He scoffed. "No I was not."
"Yeah right."
"I am serious. I am not head over heels for him or anyone." He defended, making me look at him.
He is folding his hands, acting weirdly.
"Yeah. Your body language just gave you away. I bet you both were eating each other while I was going through hell in the hands of those two witches." I said, turning to my locker.
"We weren't doing any....I am sorry, please," he whined.
I furrowed my brows at the sight of a note on my books.
I took it out.
"Another note?" Joey asked.
I nodded.
"Let me see," he said, taking it from me and opening it.
Heaving a sigh, I turned back to my locker and took out my Math notebook as Joey handled the note from my so-called secret admirer.
"It said, "Avoid Leila and Jane for your own safety." Joey read out.
I furrowed my brows and looked at him.
