🌹ROSE🌹

I moved the card behind me as I stared at CJ who was throwing daggers at me with his piercing green eyes.

"I asked you a question, little wench."

My heart begged to explode.

"Where exactly are you going to?" He repeated his question.

God save me, please. Why does he keep getting involved in my business for cry out loud?!

"Um, she is going to...."

"Shut the fuck up, freak." CJ retorted angrily, shutting Joey up.

"Oh..." Joey muttered, moving closer to me.

"I wasn't talking to you. Get the fuck out." CJ ordered.

Oh God.

"I am sorry," Joey said, and I felt him moving his hand behind me and I quickly got the memo. I handed him the card instantly.

"Are you deaf?" CJ snapped.

"Sorry," Joey said and scurried away.

My heart pounded as I stared at CJ who was looking at me.

I hope he didn't notice what Joey and I just did?

"Where are you going to?" cJ asked, walking closer to me.

I moved back but hit the table where my cake and flowers are.

"What were you and that freak excited about?" He asked as he moved towards the table.

I moved away a bit as his eyes rested on my cake.

He scoffed. "It is your birthday?" He asked, looking at me.

I didn't respond but dropped my gaze.

"What is this? Who the heck is Blue Eyes?"

I closed my eyes, feeling uneasy.

"He got these for you, didn't he?" He asked, making me look at him.

"Your older man?"

My heart pounded.

He scoffed. "That's it. He had the guts to send you this to school. Do you have any idea what you are doing at this school?"

I furrowed my brows slightly.

He nodded. "I am going to the principal's office right now to report this shit." He said, making my heart drop.

He turned and made steps away, but I just stood there, staring at him as he walked. I didn't feel the urge to stop him or beg him like I used to.

I felt held down.

He stopped on his track, making me freeze. He turned to me.

I shifted nervously.

He made steps towards me. My heart pounded at every step he took.

He stood in front of me a bit.

My heart begged to explode.

"I said, I am going to the principal's office to report this." He said.

I kept staring at him.

"Aren't you going to ask me to reconsider?" He asked.

I didn't respond but kept staring at him.

His face twitched.

He scoffed. "I see. You don't care anymore, do you?" He asked.
