"Jane Carmen." Leila called, walking slowly towards us.
I looked at Jane.
She is staring at Leila blankly. She doesn't seem intimidated by Leila.
"Isn't that your name, bitch?" Leila asked, folding her hands.
Jane scoffed. "Excuse me?"
"Are you dumb?" Leila asked, standing in front of Jane.
Joey and I moved aside a bit.
Oh geez.
Joey pursed his lips, suppressing his laughter. Like he was expecting this.
"I am sorry, who are you and how can I help you?" Jane asked.
Leila scoffed.
"She is...."
"Joey," I whispered, shutting him up. He looked at me.
I moved my eyes, telling him not to get involved.
"I am listening," Jane said, claiming our attention. She was looking at Leila.
"I am Leila George. CJ's real girlfriend."
Jane raised her brows. She chuckled.
"I'm sorry, what?"
"I heard you are a cheap bitch, but I didn't hear you were a dumb bitch as well."
Jane clenched her jaw angrily. "Look, I don't know who you are. But you cannot come here and insult me."
"Oh, shut the hell up, cheap slut. I want you to stay away from my boyfriend."
Jane chuckled.
Leila furrowed her brows.
Jane kept chuckling.
I shared a look with Joey.
"What's so funny, you psycho?"
"You are the psycho here. I will not stoop lower to your level. But as for CJ, he is mine. I am his new girlfriend. Consider yourself as his ex. Okay, sweetie?"
Leila scoffed. "Who do you think you are?!"
"Who do you think you are to warn me about CJ like you own him?" Jane retorted.
"Oh yes, I own him. He is mine."
Jane chuckled.
They went on. I was becoming uncomfortable. Why would they be fighting over an awful person like CJ?
"Let's get out of here, Joey," I whispered.
"No no. I have been waiting for this argument. It is exciting to watch." Joey whispered.
I heaved a sigh.
"I will not stay away from CJ because you asked me to. I will do it whenever I want, and I don't think I will ever want to stay away from him." Jane said.
Leila clenched her jaw as she scowled at Jane.
"He is mine. We have kissed already." Jane said, smirking.
"You little...."
"Shut the hell up and get out of here." Jane retorted.
"What did you just say to me?" Leila asked, moving closer to Jane.
Jane didn't move a muscle but stared at Leila.
"You heard me."
I grabbed Joey's hand as they went on. I headed for the door instantly.
