"What is going on here, CJ?" Jane asked. Her tone is a bit harsh.
I dropped my gaze, moving aside a bit.
"Nothing," CJ said.
I felt my nerves calming down.
"Were you trying to kiss her?" Leila asked.
I froze.
CJ scoffed in disgust. "Stop saying shit, Leila. I won't be caught dead kissing this lowlife." he said, making my heart clench.
I looked at him.
His eyes moved to me.
I shook my head in disbelief.
"What?!" He snapped.
I flinched slightly, dropping my gaze as tears approached my eyes. I felt my heart clenching.
"Of course. I knew I was wrong. I would have asked what has gotten into you. I prefer this dummy in front of me to this penniless bitch." Leila said, making me look at her.
She is looking at me mockingly.
"Did you just call me a dummy?" Jane asked her calmly.
"Yes, dummy. I just did." Leila said.
"What the hell are you two even doing here?" CJ asked.
"You need to explain to me, CJ," Leila went on.
I made fast strides towards the door, not willing to stay in the same space as them again. I headed out as tears rolled out my eyes.
I headed towards the ladies' restroom. I got into one of the toilets and closed myself.
I said on the closed toilet seat as more tears rolled out of my eyes. What he said repeated in my head.
"I won't be caught dead kissing this lowlife."
I wish I could say something to him. But I can't.
But one day I will.
I let out a scoff of disbelief.
Low life?
Really?
Like I wanted him to kiss me. I won't be caught dead kissing him either.
I will never!
He is a soulless demon.
Why would I kiss a demon? Why would I?
I sniffled, wiping my tears as I felt my phone vibrating in my bag.
I placed it on vibration to keep it away from my mum's ears. I don't like her asking me too many questions.
I sniffled again as I unzipped my bag and took out my phone.
Mr Caesar called me two times. I didn't know when he called the first time.
I guess he called when I was going through hell in CJ's hands.
CJ is so bad. I was very scared back there.
I can't even imagine what would happen if he told the principal about Mr Caesar and me.
It is going to be hell for sure. My mum will definitely disown me.
I have to avoid him. He is trouble.
He is a very huge problem.
I stared at my phone, waiting for Mr Caesar to call again.
I got a text instead.
"I presume you are in class. Happy learning 😘 I have a lot to do here myself, but I wanted the soothing nature of your beautiful voice. Talk later tho❤️."
