🌹ROSE🌹
My heart pounded after he said that. I did the first thing my instincts told me to do.
I snatched the notebook from his hand and made an attempt to run, but he grabbed me instantly and brought me closer to him.
I froze as terror washed me dry.
"What is wrong with you two?" I heard the library keeper ask, but CJ held me tightly as his piercing green eyes stared at me.
My heart is practically hitting to run out.
His face twitched as he stared at me without saying a word.
Why is he staring at me like that?
He furrowed his brows slightly, still looking at me.
"Mr Imperial," I heard the library keeper calling. I looked her way and I saw her approaching us.
"Mr Imperial, let her go." She ordered.
CJ didn't listen but kept holding me.
"Mr Imperial," she called again.
CJ released me and the library keeper stood in front of me and faced CJ.
"Mr Imperial, let this be the last time you treat a fellow student like that. Do you hear me?" She cautioned.
CJ scoffed, making me drop my gaze.
"Get the damn project ready by tomorrow." He said, making me look at him. He is walking away.
I let out a breath of relief.
"And you," she turned to me, making me freeze.
"What did you do to him?"
I shrugged. "N... nothing. I didn't do anything."
"This is a library. Silence is a must here. If you cannot maintain it, then I suggest you leave." She said, pointing at the door.
I nodded. "I am sorry. I will be quiet."
She scoffed, walking away.
I heaved a sigh and looked down at my notebook. I quickly tore out the part where I wrote Mr Caesar's name.
I don't even want to think about what the principal would do if CJ had taken this to him.
It is going to hell on earth for me. I might get expelled, and my mum would literally kill me.
I walked back to my seat and put the notebook and the piece of paper into my bag.
It is a good thing I was fast enough. CJ is capable of ruining my life.
I don't want to imagine it.
I have to finish this project before tomorrow and give him back his iPad. I don't want any trouble from him.
Time went by, and I was walking back to class for our last lesson for the day. I thought about Joey.
I wonder why he has been in school for two days now. I am very worried.
I just hope nothing is wrong.
The worst is, I don't know his house or anyone that knows it. I don't even have a phone.
Walking into the class, everyone is busy with whatever he is she is doing. Some are chatting, throwing papers while some are just pressing their phones.
That's the typical look of a class without a teacher in it.
I walked towards my seat, which is the second to the last seat on the first roll. I sat on it and placed my bag on the desk.
