"You are Rose Roberts, aren't you?" He asked.

I nodded.

"Where are you off to?" He asked.

I dropped my gaze.

He placed his hand on my shoulder, walking me back into the class.

Everyone remained silent.

"Good morning, class." He greeted.

"Good morning, sir." They greeted him in unison.

There was a little silence, making me raise my head a little.

I sighted CJ glaring at me. I dropped my gaze instantly.

"Where is your seat?" The principal asked me.

I looked at him.

He is looking at me.

"Right here, sir!" Joey said loudly, claiming our attention.

He is pointing at the seat next to him.

"Go have a seat." The principal said to me.

I nodded slowly and took the other pathway, heading towards the seat at the back.

I sat on it and Joey placed his hand on mine, nodding at me. I nodded as well.

My eyes moved to CJ. He is glaring at me.

I withdrew my eyes from him instantly.

"Well, as you all know, I am your new principal. Mr Steven Brown." The principal said, making me look at him.

"Your math teacher was supposed to come in but I placed him on hold because I want to give a very important information to all classes. Your class is the first I decided to enter because you are in your senior year. I am going to keep an eye on you mostly from now on." The principal said.

Everyone murmured.

Next, two hefty men dressed in black suits walked in and stood close to the door.

Everyone kept shut.

"As I was saying," The principal continued.

Joey and I shared a look.

"I heard this class is the worse in this school." The principal said, making slow steps along the pathway. He stopped next to CJ.

"Mainly because the so-called king of Starville High is in this class." The principal said, looking at CJ.

My heart picked up.

"Well, that is about to change because no one made anyone king of this school. You are all equal." The principal said, still looking at CJ.

I looked at Joey.

He is fighting the urge to laugh.

The principal walked further along the pathway, walking past CJ.

"Especially those who are here for scholarship." The principal said, looking at me.

I dropped my gaze.

"You are all the same." He said, walking back to the front.

"Now, the issue of bullying." The principal said, making me look up.

"These are the new security guards in this school." He said, motioning to the guards next to him.

"They are not the only guards though but they are going to work in this class specifically and the hallway." He said.
