Time went by, and I found myself on the stage, displaying the last scene.

I am lying on the floor with my eyes closed. CJ is beside me, weeping at my death. We are the only ones on the stage.

"Who did this to thee, my love most beautiful and most pure?" I heard him say.

He wrapped his hand on my shoulder and raised me up slightly.

"Open thy eyes, my true beauty," he said.

My heart raced like never. Being this close to him is doing things for me.

Things I don't understand.

The play should end alright so we can go back to our lives.

"I love thee, Juliet." He said, and I felt his lips on mine, bringing back that familiar feeling from a few minutes ago.

That amazing spark I have never felt before.

I fought the urge to kiss him back. That will not only spoil the play but embarrass myself.

He withdrew from my lips and I sensed him opening a bottle, and he drank it. I opened my eyes and held his hand, making him freeze and the bottle drop on the floor.

"Romeo, what has thou done?" I asked as he laid on his back. I sat up next to him.

"Romeo," I called, looking at him.

My heart kept racing as I admired his good-looks.

I pushed myself back to my focus.

"Romeo," I sobbed, as he reached for my cheek, caressing it slightly.

I feel shivers at his touch. Next, his eyes closed and his hand fell from my face.

I shook my head and held his cheek.

"No, Romeo." I sobbed, tears flowing as I looked at the audience.

I managed to catch some people being emotional as they watched me.

"Romeo," I sobbed again. I reached for the bottle he dropped. I stared at it and looked back at CJ.

I looked at the bottle again and looked at the audience.

"I am coming with thee," I said. I drank the remaining liquid in the bottle and dropped it.

I held CJ's hand, ignoring my weird feelings as I remained in character, falling on my back and closing my eyes.

Next, I heard footsteps approaching.

"Juliet!" I heard Jane's voice and I sensed her on her knees next to me, wailing like my mother in the play.

"Romeo, no!" Leila cried, doing the same thing Jane was doing.

"What have we done?!" Zach said.

"This war has to stop, Montague!" I heard Luther say.

"I agree with thee, Capulet," Simon said.

They shake hands and it is a wrap.

The audience began clapping as we got on our feet.

"The stars of Starville High, ladies and gentlemen," our English said as the audience kept clapping for us and giving us a standing ovation.

We all held our hands and gave them a bow as the curtains dropped, hiding us from the audience.
