🌹ROSE🌹
I sobbed as I stared at the mirror in the girls' restroom. I took more tissues, using them to wipe my dress.
It is of no use.
My dress is ruined.
More tears rolled down my eyes as I stared at myself. I kept wiping my body regardless.
The stains refused to wipe off.
I thought about the boss and our lunch outing today.
It is not going to be possible anymore. My dress is ruined. I can't go with him like this.
It will only embarrass him.
I don't want to embarrass him.
God, CJ and Leila are so mean!
I hate them.
I hate you, CJ. I hate him so much.
I sobbed the more.
The door opened, revealing Joey.
"Rosy," he called, approaching me.
I turned to him. He wrapped me in a hug regardless of the stains on my body.
"I am so sorry, girlfriend." He said.
I pulled away from the hug.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"You will mess up your clothes." I said.
He scoffed. "Don't be silly, Rosy. A hug is what you need right now." He said, hugging me again.
I sobbed. "CJ was responsible for this." I cried.
He released me and looked at me.
"Wait what?" He asked.
I nodded. "He said so himself. He even spilled cold coffee on me." I cried.
Joey scoffed. "I knew he was up to something. He is forever a soulless devil. But you know what? We are going to get even."
I furrowed my brows at him.
He nodded.
I sniffled. "But CJ is powerful. We can't get back at him." I said.
"I know that. I wasn't talking about him. I am talking about that witch, Leila." He said.
I nodded. "She is a terrible person."
"She is the she-devil. She has to pay for what she did to you." He said, wrapping me in a hug.
"But, how are we going to do that? She is CJ's girlfriend." I said.
Joey unwrapped me. "Don't worry. Leave it to me. I will deal with that witch myself." He said, making me furrow my brows.
He nodded.
"What are you going to do?" I asked.
"Just watch and see. In the meantime, let's get you out of this dress." He said, looking at my dress. I looked at it as well.
My heart aches anytime I think about it. I feel so awful. What am I going to do about my lunch outing with the boss?
"We will find something at the 'lost but found' cubicle. Maybe a sweater and joggers." He said.
I nodded.
"Let's go. Please stop crying." He said as he led the way towards the door.
