My heart is pounding very fast but I feel something within me. Something like courage. They are girls like me. It is not big deal. At least they are not CJ and his friends.

They are just girls. There is nothing to worry about. I can take them. I shouldn't be scared. Even though they outnumbered me.

"What gave you the nerve to speak to my boyfriend like that?" Leila asked.

"Yes, who the hell do you think you are?!" Barbara yelled.

"I am Rose." I said, taking them by surprise.

"And I will talk to whoever I want however I want to." I said. They were taken aback by that, sharing a look with one another.

"The bitch has more nerves than we thought." Sandra said.

"Stop calling me a bitch, Sandra. And you all should leave alone before I tell the principal." I threatened.

They laughed.

"Oh, really? You are going to run to the principal like a cry baby, aren't you?" Leila mocked.

"Yes I am." I retorted, making her smile fall.

"I am definitely going to tell him. So let me through or you all will be sorry." I said, hoping they listen.

Dahlia scoffed.

Leila walked closer to me.

My heart kept on pounding but I am masking it with my straight face. She can't do anything to me.

I was a fool to believe her the other time but now, I am not going to let her treat like that again

"Are you threatening us?" She asked.

I scoffed, making her face twitch. "I am serious, Leila. If you don't leave me alone, I am going to tell the principal." I said, maintaining eye contact with her.

She scowled at me.

"This is unbelievable." I heard Sandra say. They are very surprise at my courage right now.

Me too.

Leila was about to say a word when the door opened, claiming our attention. The security guards and Joey were standing at the door.

I felt my nerves calming down.

I love you, Joey.

"There they are." Joey said, folding his arm.

"We weren't doing anything. We were just talking." Leila said.

Joey scoffed. "That's a lie and you know it."

"It is the truth!" The twins said in unison.

"Yes," Dahlia supported.

"See?" Leila asked.

Joey shook his head in disbelief.

"She were bullying me." I said, refering to Leila, making everyone look at me.

The girls scowled angrily at me.

"All of them were." I added, looking at them.

Leila scoffed in disbelief.

"You little..." Barbara muttered.

"To the principal's office, now." One of the guards ordered.

The girls headed out except Leila. She is still scowling at me.

"Seriously?" She asked.

I raised my brows. "I told you I was serious."

She scoffed, walking out the door.
