"What the hell?" I heard Joey mutter as Leila walked towards us. She stood next to Jane and smiled at us.
"Hey, sweeties. It is nice to have you both here," Leila said.
Did she just call us sweeties?
"Welcome to Leila's and Jane's all pink party," she said.
"Yeah," Jane supported, giving Leila a high five.
I raised my brows in amazement.
Joey scoffed. "I'm sorry, since when did the two of you become friends?"
Good question!
Leila and Jane chuckled.
"Well, since we decided to be our sister's keeper," Leila said, placing her hand on Jane's shoulder.
What the.....
Joey and I shared a look.
"Anyway, come on in, don't stand here. The party is in here." Jane said, and I noticed her taking Leila's hand off her shoulders.
"Yes, come in," Leila said as they both moved aside for us to walk in.
Something is definitely up. We can't go in.
"Come on, Rosy," Joey said, taking my hand so we could go in.
"Joey, no," I almost whispered, holding him back.
"We are here already, Rosy," he whispered.
"We can't go in. I don't trust those two," I said, looking at Jane and Leila momentarily.
"I don't either, but we have no choice. We can start outside, it is freezing, and my sister won't be coming back to pick us up until after two hours."
I heaved a frustrated sigh. "We shouldn't have come. I shouldn't have come. I told you this was a bad idea."
"I know, but we can't turn back time. Let's go in." He whispered, turning to the door.
Jane and Leila smiled at us.
Joey made a step to enter, but I held him back again.
"Call your sister to come and pick us up," I whispered.
"I can't. She will be upset because I am stressing her. Plus, it will ruin my chances of going to parties forever and that will literally ruin my life."
"Are you guys coming in or what?" Jane asked.
"We are," Joey said, taking my hand, and we walked in.
I felt nervous and paranoid at the same time the minute we walked into the enormous house and headed inside.
I looked behind me and saw Leila and Jane looking at us.
Those two witches.
What are they up to?
Next, the Adams twins and Dahila walked into the party in their pink attires.
Wow. The witch pack is complete.
I looked away from them, feeling very disturbed being there.
Joey leaned closer to me. "Don't worry, we will watch our backs. We won't leave each other's sight till after two hours, and we will go back home."
I nodded slightly. "That's fair enough."
"Come on, let's go find ourselves a drink.' he said, walking through the dancing crowd without letting go of my hand.
Getting towards the table, we saw a lot of snacks, cupcakes, cookies, chocolates, candies and punch drinks.
Oh gosh.
