Indeed, such a significant change was truly necessary.
The idea of reinstating the Triwizard Tournament was also highly astute, aiding in bridging the gap between schools and countries and integrating the European magical world in its entirety.
Unfortunately, nobody had foreseen that Voldemort would have a role in that event.
He plotted a conspiracy to remove Harry from Hogwarts and use his blood to regain his strength.
In the original book, the upcoming Triwizard Tournament was undoubtedly a nightmare.
Cedric's death, Voldemort's return, and the resurgence of the Death Eaters.
Significant changes had taken place in the serene magical world, heralding the beginning of the Second Wizarding War.
The war spelled disaster. Even if good prevailed in the end, loss of lives was inevitable. Even Dumbledore had fallen, and anyone could perish.
Evan did not want this to happen. Given the altered history, it was necessary to modify it more profoundly than ever.
He had to rely on his strength, not just his knowledge of history, to defeat Voldemort.
He was now taking a significant step towards becoming the powerful wizard he desired to be, to safeguard Hermione, protect lives, and defend Hogwarts.
Nothing could intimidate him, not even Voldemort.
Evan had resolved to thwart the conspiracy of Voldemort's return.
After Dumbledore discussed the preparations for the Triwizard Tournament, he immediately penned a letter to Professor Lupin, urging him to pay closer attention to Barty Crouch.
Evan hoped to soon locate the other half of the Philosopher's Stone to deal with the issue of Barty Crouch Jr.
Finishing his drink, he made his way to Flamel's office with his ancient book of magic.
Upon entering Flamel's office, Evan was surprised to see Sirius there as well, engaged in conversation.
"Evan, Dumbledore has just written to us; he has determined the location of the other half of the Philosopher's Stone. Let's leave immediately," Sirius said.
"Really?!" Evan rejoiced, then glanced at Flamel seated beside him, "I have not yet learned about ancient magical writings."
"I believe you have enough knowledge to study on your own," Flamel said calmly, "Evan, you are the finest pupil I have taught. In over 600 years, you are not the only talented wizard I have seen, but you are the one I have liked the most. Your future, as I see it, holds limitless promise. I hope you uncover the true secret."
Looking at the kind old man, reminiscing about his teachings over the past month or so and the chance of not seeing him again after his departure, Evan suddenly felt quite saddened.
He bowed deeply to him, wiping his eyes with the back of his hand, unwilling to cry in front of Sirius and Flamel.
"Well, you have to set out to find the Philosopher's Stone!" Flamel said. "Remember, Evan! Make sure to go to Egypt to consult the 'Emerald Tablet.' It will be very useful, even crucial, for you to understand the first part of the alchemy book!"
"I will remember!" Evan nodded.
After bidding farewell to Flamel, he and Sirius stepped out into the empty corridor.
"Where are we going?" Evan asked. "Where is the Philosopher's Stone?"
"Dumbledore has requested in his letter that we meet him at a tavern outside the forest in the southwest of Albania," Sirius handed Evan a somewhat thick parchment. "I have verified the relevant information. Near that tavern is a gathering place for wizards."
Upon perusing the description of the tavern's location in the letter, Evan had a foreboding feeling about it.
Unexpectedly, they truly had to venture into the forests of Albania. If he remembered correctly, Voldemort was hiding there at that moment!
Would everything truly turn out well on this quest for the Philosopher's Stone?
The Eagle's Bar was located on the edge of the vast forests of southwestern Albania, just south of the capital Tirana and not far from Greek territory.
On the wooden billboard outside the bar, a crude black two-headed eagle was painted.
Due to its age, the paint on the scene had begun to fade, and every time the wind blew, the weathered sign would creak.
This kind of sound was akin to the cawing of a crow, quite ominous!
Near the bar was a small village entirely composed of sorcerers. After centuries of development, it had become the second largest concentration area of sorcerers in Albania.
Unlike the peaceful and beautiful Hogsmeade, it resembled more of Knockturn Alley.
In the small village, dragons and snakes mingled, laws seemed to not exist, and everywhere sinister Dark wizards with malevolent appearances could be seen, as well as dazzling shops of dark magic.
In fact, the situation in the country as a whole was similar.
Due to years of war and poverty, Albania was one of the most chaotic countries in Europe, and its Ministry of Magic also managed territories outside the capital.
This situation had led to an increase in fugitives and Dark wizards. Robberies and murders occurred from time to time. Chaos and disorder were synonymous with the country.
Albania was like the hub of Dark wizards in Europe, where you could find any contraband related to dark magic as long as you could pay enough.
Of course, besides this, the stunning mountains and forests of this country are truly worth visiting, as long as visitors are strong enough to protect themselves.
As one observes the fierce creatures in the forest, one must be alert to wizards with hidden intentions around them; otherwise, they may not realize they are in peril before it is too late.
Overall, Evan did not fancy the place.
Three days had passed since he and Sirius arrived at this dingy bar, with Dumbledore seeming to have vanished from sight without leaving a message.
Sirius reassured Evan not to worry. Dumbledore must be preoccupied with something, which was why he never came to see them.
With Dumbledore's strength, there was nothing to fear.
Although he was comforting Evan, Sirius himself seemed even more agitated.
Being a little-known tavern, the Eagle's Bar had seen an influx of guests recently.
Judging by their appearance, most were dark wizards, proud and untamed adventurers, and outlaws.
After some inquiries made by Evan and Sirius, it turned out that not long ago, an adventurer had discovered a relic deep in the nearby forest.
To be more precise, it was a relic left by ancient Centaurs.
