Evan had no objection to Hermione's suggestion; however, considering Madame Maxime's relationship with Hagrid, Fleur would eventually find out about the fire dragon.

But if Evan told her beforehand, she would owe him a favor.

"Gabrielle, where is your sister?" Evan asked. "There's something I want to discuss with her."

"She's in her room. She says she's not feeling well today. She's not going to Hogsmeade!" Gabrielle replied.

She blinked, wondering what Evan needed to tell her sister in private.

"Well, lead me upstairs..."

"You go alone. I just came out of there. She's in a bad mood. I don't want to be near her right now." Gabrielle made a charming grimace and said with a smile, "you need to be prepared."

Evan glanced back at Hermione, who showed no intention of accompanying him.

With a sigh, he asked Gabrielle for Fleur's room and entered the huge Beauxbatons carriage alone.

If Fleur's demeanor remained unchanged, no one would dare to approach her.

As soon as he entered, Evan had a sudden sense of spaciousness.

The space in front of him was much larger than it appeared from the outside, and all objects instantly appeared magnified.

It bore no resemblance to the interior of a carriage at all, yet it gave Evan the illusion of being back in the main building of Beauxbatons School of Magic.

The carriage was silent, and Evan saw no one inside it.

He climbed the golden staircase to the first floor and stopped in front of the second room on the inside.

Here was Fleur's room; he knocked on the door.

"Come in!" Fleur rasped, sounding a bit weak.

This was very inconsistent with her usual tough demeanor. Was she really ill?!

Evan pushed the door and saw a room predominantly decorated in pink, with feminine items everywhere.

The latticed windows exuding European style were covered by pleated white screens, with sunlight filtering through the cracks, bringing a glimmer to the dimmed room.

The air was filled with a refreshing fragrance, peculiar to Fleur.

The most striking feature of the room was the soft and magnificent large bed in the center.

Fleur was lying on the bed, with the beddings pushed aside. She was lying in it wearing a pink nightgown.

The low round neckline was adorned with white lace, revealing her graceful, concave, exquisite figure. Her open neckline was as white and enticing as snow. Slightly visible were the lines of sexy lingerie underneath. A small piece of her snow-white arm was exposed, and her fragrance lingered in the air.

Her exposed soft and tender skin, akin to ice and snow, looked especially white under the light of the sun filtering through the window.

Seeing Fleur like this, Evan stood there dumbfounded, unsure whether to make his presence known.

"Gabrielle, weren't you going to Hogsmeade with that boy, why are you back?!" Fleur exclaimed, lazily turning around. "First of all, no matter how much you plead this time, I won't..."

Suddenly, Fleur stopped and widened her eyes. She stared incredulously at Evan standing at the door.

They locked eyes, and the atmosphere became slightly uncomfortable.

Following Evan's gaze, Fleur looked down and realized the issue.

Despite her frankness, it was somewhat embarrassing for a boy to see her in that state.

"It's you?!" Fleur shook her beautiful head and rubbed her eyes, "How did you get in?!"

"You let me in!" Evan replied instinctively, feeling a bit uneasy.

"GET OUT OF HERE!" Fleur grabbed the duvet swiftly and covered herself, her face flushed.

Then she thought she couldnt let Evan leave like this. If anyone else found out about this incident...

"Come in and close the door!" Fleur gritted her teeth and shook her fist. "Damn, what on earth are you doing?!"

There was something amiss in the scene. The girl curled up in the beddings, huddled on the bed, as if Evan was going to do something to her.

However, to say that Fleur's current appearance could arouse ill intentions in any man would be an understatement...

"I want to tell you about the first task of the tournament... we... speculated..." Evan said directly, trying not to meet the longing gaze of Fleur: "The first task is a fire-breathing dragon!"

"What?!"

"Fire-breathing dragon," Evan quickly reiterated. "You must be well-prepared as soon as possible and practice to face a fire-breathing dragon."

Fleur stared at him intently, even forgetting to cover herself with the bedsheet.

Upon realizing that Evan wasn't joking with her, a glint of fear crossed her blue eyes.

"Are you sure?!" she exclaimed, narrowing her eyes.

"Absolutely, trust me," Evan assured her.

Fleur gazed at Evan with a puzzled, almost skeptical expression in her beautiful eyes.

It took a long time before she nodded. She seemed to have grasped the situation and made a decision.

"So you assumed the first task is the Dragon, and then you immediately came to inform me!" Fleur said, her voice returning to its usual tone. "Why are you doing this?"

"We are friends, aren't we?" Evan remarked. "You know, I have a good relationship with Gabrielle. I can't let you face those massive creatures unprepared, so..."

"I trust you!" Fleur whispered, then gracefully descended from the bed. "Thank you for telling me this, Evan!"

She adjusted her nightgown without displaying any embarrassment.

Evan became aware of how alluring Fleur was. In some places, the originally loose nightgown appeared slightly short...

"I have been curious about you ever since Gabrielle told me that you helped Sirius Black clear his name," Fleur said, approaching Evan. "I was intrigued by the kind of young wizard who would do such a thing, but only after seeing you in person did I realize you are the kind of wizard I can't help but despise and admire at the same time."

Evan blinked, wondering what Fleur meant by that.

The atmosphere in the room grew stranger, and something seemed amiss about all this...

To be fair, Evan only accidentally saw Fleur in her nightgown, what could be more abnormal than that?!

"Every time I think I understand your strength, you do more amazing things. Evan, whether we like it or not, you are the most qualified wizard I have encountered," Fleur continued. "So..."

Before Evan could respond, Fleur suddenly lowered her head and kissed him on the forehead.

The girl's lips were soft yet warm, quickening Evan's heartbeat.

Evan stood there dumbfounded, gazing at Fleur, as if searching for a response.

Despite Fleur being very beautiful and the most beautiful girl Evan had ever seen, he did not have feelings for her.

He only had eyes for Hermione, and that had not changed from the start.

And even though he had told Fleur about the Fire Dragon, she didn't need to be so... grateful, right?!

"You know... this, don't tell anyone!" Evan said. "Hermione and Gabrielle are waiting for me downstairs, I'm off!"

Watching Evan's retreating figure, Fleur's face was filled with pride.

She found it amusing to tease this young lad.
