When Evan returned to the room, Elaine had just finished dressing, her face flushed.

Her body was wet and had not dried yet...

Both were breathing heavily and looking at each other. The atmosphere in the room was ambiguous, elegant, and stifling at the same time.

The scent of steam and milk intertwined, filling the room with a sweet fragrance.

Under those circumstances, it seemed like anything could happen, as long as one of them was impulsive.

Indeed, Evan felt very impulsive at that moment, unable to focus on anything.

He decided to do something for Elaine, who was still not properly dressed...

Evan pointed his wand at her, magic surged, and her damp clothes dried instantly.

Like Gabrielle, after many ups and downs, he bid the vampire farewell.

Elaine hadn't forgotten the fact of turning Evan into a vampire, but so much had happened. Her face was as red as an apple, lacking the courage to stay.

She told Evan she would find time to come back to him.

Meanwhile, Evan hoped never to see that girl again...

Elaine left dazed, and Evan returned to the empty room feeling more exhausted than ever.

Undoubtedly, the Quidditch World Cup, camping, or whatever it may be, was not suitable for him.

The only good thing was that Elaine and Gabrielle's visit went undiscovered.

Only he and Kreacher knew about that matter, and the house-elf had to keep it secret.

Evan collapsed heavily onto the bed. He had no energy to ponder what would happen that night. Now, he only wanted to sleep.

The next moment, he quickly rose from the bed again.

Evan felt something under his feet and had a bad premonition.

He lifted the blanket and found a pair of damp white panties... In her haste, Elaine had forgotten to put them on!

Evan had no time to dwell on his current embarrassment. He left that thing behind, but what should he do with it?!

He regarded the undergarments as if they were the most dangerous thing in the world.

His previous judgment was not wrong. Slytherin was indeed the most troublesome!

Whether Salazar, Voldemort, Elaine, or other vampires, all proved to be quite troublesome.

After remaining stunned for a while, Evan sighed deeply.

He carefully picked them up and stored them in his bag.

He couldn't just leave the panties lying around. He had to keep them and return them to Elaine later.

However, the thought of having a girl's intimate clothing with him left Evan defeated.

He had a dream about Elaine, Gabrielle, and Hermione...

At dusk, Evan, who was sound asleep, was awakened by Hermione.

"Get up, the game is about to start, we're ready to go!" Hermione said with a smile.

Evan opened his eyes and looked at Hermione with a familiar smile, feeling an unprecedented kindness.

He rubbed his eyes and sat up in bed, feeling that it was an especially long day.

Or was he still in a dream?!

"Evan, you look tired!" Hermione said with concern, then thought for a moment, "Don't dwell on those things, today is the World Cup, a day to relax. You're under too much pressure. Don't worry about evil gods, Voldemort, and vampires. No matter what the future holds, we'll face it together!"

Hermione's concern was truly comforting, but the future she spoke of facing together certainly didn't involve girls' underwear!

If he could, Evan really wanted to embrace Hermione tightly now and make time stand still.

He hesitated for a moment. He quickly drew closer and took the initiative to hug Hermione.

Hermione was suddenly frozen, not expecting Evan to do that.

In fact, Evan was also taken aback and didn't expect to be so bold. For a moment, his body acted faster than his mind.

"Evan, what are you doing?!" Hermione hurriedly pushed Evan away, somewhat angry, gritting her teeth.

Evan blinked and was fully awake immediately, figuring out how to explain.

Seeing Hermione's expression, he knew things were going awry!

The atmosphere was becoming increasingly tense. Neither of them spoke, just gazing at each other.

A few seconds later, Hermione suddenly leaned in and hugged Evan gently, without warning.

Then she blushed and pulled her body away from his as quickly as she could, just as Evan could feel her warmth.

"This will never happen again!" She whispered...

A few minutes later, as Evan and Hermione descended the stairs, everyone was gathered in the small dining room on the ground floor.

They were discussing the Quidditch World Cup, and no one noticed anything unusual.

Everyone finished their dinner enthusiastically and headed to the World Cup venue.

At this moment, even the tranquil summer air at the camp seemed to vibrate with anticipation.

As night fell, the last vestiges of normalcy vanished: the Ministry of Magic seemed to have embraced the inevitable and stopped fighting against the evident signs of magic that now burst forth everywhere.

Now everything was filled with a festive atmosphere. Vendors Apparated every few meters, carrying trays and pushing carts full of extraordinary merchandise.

Among them were luminous rosettes, green for Ireland, red for Bulgaria. When worn, they shouted the names of the players every few seconds.

There were pointed green hats adorned with dancing shamrocks, Bulgarian scarves embellished with truly roaring lions, flags of both countries playing their national anthems as they waved, and tiny models of the Firebolts that actually flew.

There were collectible figurines of famous players that strutted in the palm of your hand.

"I've been saving my pocket money all summer for this," Ron said.

The group strolled leisurely among the vendors, with Ron frantically buying souvenirs.

Although he got a dancing shamrock hat and a large rosette, he also bought a small figurine of Viktor Krum, the Bulgarian Seeker.

The tiny Krum walked back and forth in Ron's hand, frowning at the green rosette above him.

Such gadgets did not interest Evan. He and Hermione were at the back of the group.

Though the two didn't say anything, Evan felt a deep sense of happiness, like never before.

"Look at this!" Harry exclaimed, quickly approaching a cart filled with what appeared to be brass binoculars, except they were covered with all sorts of strange knobs and dials.

"Take a look, these are Omnioculars," the vendor said enthusiastically. "You can replay the action... slow everything down... and they show a play-by-play analysis if you need it. A bargain at ten Galleons each."
