After "The Book of Abraham" inexplicably sealed the evil god, Evan reopened it and tried to read it.
The majority of the third part was still covered in ink, and no specific content could be seen.
Only in the central part of the page, the ink faded, revealing the portrait of the evil god, reduced countless times.
Evan did not know what was happening, and could not grasp the connection between The Book of Abraham and the malevolent god.
But there was no doubt that The Book of Abraham was undeniably significant.
The malevolent spirits were discovered and summoned by ancient sorcerers, and perhaps they left a way to defeat them in this book.
It seemed that Evan should make good use of his time to study The Book of Abraham.
Indeed, his research was progressing too slowly.
In addition to the ancient esoteric magical inscriptions, the first part of the written description of alchemy was also highly abstract.
Although Evan translated the corresponding statement, he had no idea what it meant.
He decided to heed Nicolas Flamel's advice and find time to go to Egypt in search of the "Emerald Tablet."
Flamel said that the "Emerald Tablet" could help Evan accelerate his understanding of the essence of alchemy.
For the second part, the scepter surrounded by two snakes left by Slytherin also needed to be found as soon as possible.
After reading the first part, he would also need to decipher the second part of The Book of Abraham.
Only by deciphering all this could he reach the third secret related to the evil god. Until then, he could only hope that Voldemort would not do anything dangerous with his statue. Otherwise, the combination of these two villains would truly be challenging to deal with.
Previously, Evan also received a letter from Professor Lupin who wanted to know the current situation in the magical world.
Now, wizards from all over the world were eagerly anticipating the upcoming Quidditch World Cup final.
Foreign wizards were flocking to the country in an endless stream, and Diagon Alley was truly crowded.
Evan's shop's revenue had increased significantly, and many products were sold out!
Foreign wizards seemed interested in the various products developed by Hogwarts students. Among them, the joke products of the Weasley twins were the most popular and flew off the shelves as soon as they arrived.
As for recent sales of Hogwarts Magic, there had been a slight decrease.
However, this was quite normal. The Daily Prophet and the Weekly Sorcery Magazine remained the dominant media.
Hogwarts Magic still had a long way to go in terms of volume and content.
Evan had already considered this situation, and Hogwarts Magic had not had any significant news recently.
After all, whether it was Voldemort, the evil god, or the fallen Centaurs, these contents could not be published without caution.
In addition to that, there was nothing noteworthy happening in the magical world.
Following Evan's previous request, Lupin had been monitoring Barty Crouch and sending someone to search for Voldemort's father's estate.
But there had been no progress on that front. Voldemort and the vampires did not return to the Riddle House after the battle at the Centaur Temple.
Evan wanted to replace Voldemort's father's bones and prevent him from casting the spell that would restore his body.
But this was futile because Tom Riddle Senior's grave had been destroyed half a century ago.
According to the inhabitants of Little Hangleton, his body was secretly unearthed shortly after Tom Riddle Senior's burial.
The remains of the coffin were scattered everywhere and were not discovered until much later.
Perhaps it was Tom Sr. who had enemies hateful enough to scatter his bones, delaying his return.
When he began creating Horcruxes, Voldemort considered all possible downsides to prevent any mishap that could hinder his rebirth.
The more Evan thought about ways to prevent that, the more he realized the depth of Tom's evil.
As for Barty Crouch Sr., he was as strict and meticulous as ever.
Due to the Quidditch World Cup, he was now working late at the Ministry of Magic, coming home very late.
While his diligence was exceptional, this was nothing out of the ordinary for him.
Evan was unsure if Voldemort had heard the news that Barty Crouch Jr. had escaped from Azkaban. So far, there was no trace of the missing witch, and there was no evidence that Voldemort had taken her.
To make matters worse, the Ministry of Magic was completely indifferent to her disappearance, and nobody paid any attention to it at all.
In any case, Evan could not rush directly to Crouch's house to look for Barty Crouch Jr.
All he could do now was wait patiently until things unfolded.
Though none of these things were easy, Evan was very certain and not overly concerned.
After the Philosopher's Stone merged into one, his curse was broken.
Now, his magic had returned to the level it was before Voldemort cursed him.
Considering he could use the powerful magic of the Philosopher's Stone, Evan could perform most spells.
Despite his lack of experience, his skill was already superior to that of most wizards.
If others were to find out, they would surely exclaim and consider his mere existence a true miracle.
Evan pondered things related to Voldemort and the vampires for a while before beginning to write back to Harry.
In his letter, he persuaded Harry to practice Occlumency.
This charm could block any spiritual invasion from other creatures and sever the connection between Harry and Voldemort.
Evan had made little progress in this area and could only teach Harry some basic steps; for example, how to empty the mind.
Furthermore, he also invited Harry to his home to spend the rest of the summer holidays.
Evan knew that spending the entire summer with the Dursleys would almost drive him crazy.
As Evan was about to finish the letter, Hermione entered with a very noisy owl.
It was the owl that Sirius had given Ron for Christmas, named Pigwidgeon.
The owl was proud to have successfully delivered a letter.
"Evan, what did Harry say in the letter?" asked Hermione, placing the noisy Pig next to Hedwig.
Hedwig looked at the piglet with large amber eyes and seemed displeased with his performance.
"Harry asked about Sirius's condition, and his scar hurts all the time."
"His scar hurts?!" Hermione was astonished, then concerned. "This is not good. The scar was left by Voldemort. It would be best if we told Dumbledore about this. I remember this book that I..."
After persuading Hermione not to worry too much, Evan inquired about Ron's letter.
"He invited us to his house. Ron said Mr. Weasley got tickets for the Quidditch World Cup," Hermione handed Evan a crumpled parchment and continued, "The Weasleys also invited Harry."
