"Evan, I just heard some people say you live here, so I thought," said Gabrielle cheerfully.

"Come in and tell me what you mean!" Evan dragged Gabrielle inside.

He peeked out and looked both ways down the quiet hallway, then glanced down at the house-elf Kreacher.

"Kreacher..." Evan said with a bitter smile.

"Do not worry, Master Evan, old Kreacher is a good house-elf and will never reveal his master's secrets," said Kreacher with a rigid voice, looking at Evan with his murky eyes.

"Alright, don't tell anyone about this!" Evan nodded, feeling a bit embarrassed.

If Kreacher were to ask, he really wouldn't know how to explain it to that house-elf.

The elf bowed to him and vanished with a pop, Evan took a deep breath, closed the door, and looked at Gabrielle, who was a little embarrassed.

She blushed a bit and hadn't expected Evan to drag her straight into his room. Why had he locked the door? Wasn't that a bit peculiar?!

Gabrielle looked around at the room's decorations and pondered whether she should sit down. The atmosphere was a bit uncomfortable.

In fact, Evan was even more nervous than she was, fearing being discovered.

He, the prodigy, was alone in a room with Elaine the vampire, undressed, which would be enough to make the front page of the Daily Prophet.

"Gabrielle, why are you here?" Evan asked absentmindedly. His mind was still on what happened in the bathroom.

He didn't know how Elaine ended up there either. He hoped she wouldn't make any noise.

"I heard others say you live here, and I wanted to come and greet you," blushed Gabrielle as she said, "The last time you came to Beauxbatons, you didn't speak to me. I only heard of you from my sister."

Gabrielle seemed to have some regrets, but in Beauxbatons, Evan actually spent most of his time with her.

However, he was in Animagus form, something Gabrielle was unaware of. She thought he was just a common black cat.

"Last time something unexpected happened, I was going to meet you," Evan said, embarrassed, remembering the past.

"It was those guys' fault, and I didn't expect them to be so unpleasant. After you left, Madame Olympe Maxime specifically talked about this and punished all the senior students involved," explained Gabrielle.

"Oh!" Evan nodded. He had heard Sirius mention that.

Regardless of who was right, Beauxbatons was responsible for the unpleasant incident during Evan's visit as a guest.

Madame Maxime had to make a gesture to give Dumbledore, Evan, and Hogwarts a satisfactory response.

However, Evan never took that matter seriously, and anyway, he didn't suffer any loss.

After Gabrielle finished, there was a moment of silence in the room.

What Evan was thinking now was how to get Gabrielle out of there as soon as possible, rather than continue the conversation.

"By the way, Evan, have you received my letters?" nervously asked Gabrielle.

"Yes, I have. I was busy before, so I didn't have time to respond," Evan nodded.

During the time he and Sirius were at Beauxbatons and the Albanian forest, Gabrielle's letters were received by the house-elf Dobby for him.

It was only when he returned a few days ago that he saw the letters, more than twenty of them.

"That's good. When I didn't get replies, I thought you hadn't received them or something had happened," Gabrielle breathed a sigh of relief.

She and Evan looked at each other, both quickly pulling away. The space was filled with a strange atmosphere.

Gabrielle found it odd to talk while standing the whole time.

The next moment, she hesitated and walked towards the bed, ready to sit down and be more comfortable.

"Wait, Gabrielle, do not sit there!" Evan said hastily, his heart pounding. He hurried as much as he could to stop her.

If she sat on the bed, she might easily feel and discover what he was hiding in the bedding.

Elaine had all her clothes inside, all of them! Evan really didn't know how to explain it.

Perhaps Obliviate was his best option.

"Evan?!" Gabrielle looked at him in surprise, not knowing what was going on.

"I... I am used to sitting on the bed, you sit on the chair!" Evan said stiffly.

He didn't care about anything else. He sat directly on the duvet and could feel the bulk of Elaine's clothes underneath. Thinking about the girl's dress, socks, and underwear beneath him, Evan dared to say his face was definitely red.

Truly, I had been quite unlucky today. What was all this commotion?!

Gabrielle seemed to have a lot to tell him, but Evan's mind was blank.

Thinking that Hermione could come down at any moment, he now felt like an ant in a hot pot, anxious and desperate.

In the room, the uncomfortable silence lingered, and the atmosphere grew increasingly odd.

Gabrielle hesitated and slowly sat on the chair, gazing curiously at Evan.

He had a sense that something was amiss with Evan, as if he were hiding something.

Or perhaps, he was just nervous? He probably never expected to see her.

"Evan, did you just say you were going to bathe?" She glanced around and directed her eyes towards the bathroom.

"I just filled the tub and was about to wash up!" Evan said stiffly, changing the subject. "Gabrielle, why are you here alone? Where is your sister Fleur?"

"She's at the store. I just wanted to come and say hi."

In truth, Evan wanted to imply that since she had seen him, she should leave, but Gabrielle did not seem to share that same desire.

"Your store is very pretty; mine is not as big," she whispered. "You even have a bathroom in your room."

She stood up and seemed to want to peek inside.

Evan's heart was already in his throat. If Gabrielle entered the bathroom, she...

He secretly decided that if he ever went camping again, he should look for a more modest tent instead of this type of luxury tent.

"Gabrielle, what would you like to drink?" Evan hastily said, blocking Gabrielle's path.

"Anything is fine. Don't bother preparing if you have milk."

"I'll bring it to you, no, let's go together!" Evan couldn't help but say, taking Gabrielle's hand directly.

Suddenly, being held by Evan, Gabrielle looked shyly at him, her face red like a ripe apple.

With Evan's bold move, his heart was pounding, and he couldn't help but think...

What he was thinking was the least of his worries. First, he would get Gabrielle out so Elaine could come out and get dressed.

As for what to do if someone else found out, then he would figure out a way to explain it.

But just as he took Gabrielle's hand, there was a knock on the door, and someone else arrived.

Evan felt like he was going mad. What was happening today?!

Where should he hide Gabrielle this time?!
