The Hufflepuffs, who generally got along excellently with the Gryffindors, became noticeably distant with the whole group. Upon crossing paths, they simply turned and left.

Even their Head, Professor Sprout, was the same. One Herbology lesson was enough to demonstrate it.

This was truly quite easy to understand. The Hufflepuff House rarely received any recognition.

Cedric was one of the few who ever gave them any recognition, having once defeated Gryffindor in Quidditch. What made their resentment even stronger was that they felt Ron had stolen the recognition that was rightfully theirs.

To make matters worse, many of them started to insult Ron in every possible way, reminiscent of the Slytherins.

As for the Ravenclaws, they did not support Ron as much as they did Cedric.

Although they still maintained a certain degree of rational restraint, most Ravenclaws seemed to think that Ron had been desperate for fame by tricking the Goblet of Fire into accepting his name.

In fact, Ron still felt proud of becoming a champion. He was not at all aware of his current unfavorable situation or, more precisely, the selective neglect he was enduring.

They were all jealous of him, jealous that he had become a champion.

He was now fully immersed in the champion status, in the great glory it brought, admired by other young wizards from Gryffindor and boasting about having fictitiously deciphered Dumbledore's magic to fool the Goblet of Fire.

He didn't even listen to the words of Evan, Harry, or Hermione, nor did he think about the first task.

This was really bad enough, wasn't it?!

Evan could only leave the persuasion to Harry and Hermione, not putting much effort into Ron.

He found himself stuck in studying the powerful spell "Silence" acquired from the swamp remnants. It took him a long time to research in the library and search through all kinds of ancient magic books to compare them with the magical symbols of the spell.

Evan gained approval from Caresius, and Madam Pince reluctantly gave him a collection of books from the Restricted Section.

He didn't understand at all why this student got permission from the Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor every year.

The previous professors Lockhart, Lupin, and Black did it, and even now, Mad-Eye Moody was no different.

Were these professors mad to allow a thirteen-year-old wizard to face esoteric horrors?

Madam Pince had worked in the library for decades, and it was the first time she touched many of those books.

These magic books had been placed in the Restricted Section for centuries, and no one had touched them before Evan.

Beyond was the understanding of the contents and knowledge of these records, most of which were not even titled by Madam Pince.

Evan ignored her constant frown. Besides facing the obstacle in studying the spell, he did not make much progress in studying ancient magic.

Ancient magic scripts, especially the oldest ones, could not be learned solely by reciting and memorizing them, but also by understanding and mastering the meaning and the changes they created.

These things kept Evan busy, not to mention he had to find time to learn the language of the Merpeople and Alchemy.

Each class task also took up a lot of his time. Without Hermione's help, Evan really wouldn't know what to do.

In this situation, he naturally didn't have time to deal with Ron, who still didn't recognize the seriousness of the matter.

Perhaps after learning about the content of the first task, he would come seeking help.

Evan also learned the latest developments from Caresius. Barty Crouch Jr. sent him a note through the owl network asking him to do everything possible to help Ron in the tournament.

Barty Jr. made Ron a champion not only to kill him but to plot something else.

But Ron wasn't the only champion.

Fleur quickly gained the support of all male students. She was now the most talked-about topic among the boys. A beautiful girl with Veela ancestry; she was the dream love of most men.

However, among the girls, Fleur's reputation was not as good, even at Beauxbatons.

As for Cedric, he appeared more like a champion's supporter than anyone else. He had an exceptionally handsome appearance, with his straight nose, dark hair, and gray eyes.

It should not be forgotten that he was also very strong and excelled in all aspects. Not even Caresius hesitated to praise him. The way he looked at him seemed to desire him to become a vampire as well, which was chilling.

Viktor Krum was not as handsome as Cedric, but his popularity was also very high, especially among the girls.

Evan had observed more than once girls by the Durmstrang ship or near the Great Hall, begging Krum for autographs on parchment, handbags, accessories, and even underwear...

He could not comprehend their frankness and madness at all.

For the Beauxbatons and Durmstrang students who had to stay at Hogwarts, a curriculum arrangement had been made.

Because they had to remain and cheer on their school champions in the tournament, they could not return to their schools until the end of the term.

Therefore, classes were assigned to them at Hogwarts according to their age and level of learning, to study with the young wizards of Hogwarts and ensure that their studies were not delayed.

Due to all being students over the age of 17, they were focused on sixth and seventh-year courses, except for Gabrielle. She was the sole underage visiting witch under seventeen.

On Monday, after the champions were selected, Evan was surprised to find Gabrielle in his class. He didn't understand what was happening until he learned that the girl had chosen the exact same subjects as him.

"Don't be so surprised. Both Madame Maxime and my sister believe I can learn more about magic and integrate more quickly with you," said Gabrielle, a mischievous smile on her face. "Evan, will you look after me, won't you?"

In fact, Professor McGonagall had just sent Gabrielle there and specifically requested that Evan take care of her.

Apparently, Madame Maxime spoke directly with Dumbledore about this matter; Evan could do nothing but accept.

The way Gabrielle looked; he felt that perhaps he had a bit of extra energy in him.

Taking care of a foreign student in life and studies was a significant task.
