In class, Moody watched as Evan remained motionless, believing his Imperius Curse had been successful. He had managed to control Evan and could order him to do anything. There was no resistance at all.

Everything went extraordinarily well; his heart was filled with ecstasy and he could not even believe it.

He had thought Evan would resist his invasion; he had thought he would not succeed without exerting all his strength.

After all, this boy excelled in every aspect and could not be underestimated.

Moody had planned to embarrass Evan, but now that Evan was completely under control, he suddenly realized that this was a unique opportunity, and decided to delve into the secrets hidden in the boy's mind.

Even if this could expose him, it was a unique opportunity.

Moody looked into Evan's eyes. He raised his wand and said, "Legilimens."

The image before his eyes was rapidly changing. The immense body of the evil spirit appeared twisted and hideous. It floated in the air, its mouth slowly opening, with greenish mucus inside, filled with black fangs and endless horrors.

Before he could grasp what he had seen, the boy drew his wand at lightning speed.

"Protego!" Evan shouted.

Moody hesitated, took a step back, fell to the ground, and his wand flew out of his hand.

In the next second, Evan's mind was invaded by strange memories.

It was an endless abyss, surrounded by black stones stacked unevenly, and at the top lay infinite darkness.

Soon, as his eyes gradually adjusted to the darkness, he realized there was something there.

It was a huge monster resembling an alien, a mix of the most terrifying creatures in the world.

It was dark purple, composed of piles of decaying flesh. The middle part was humanoid, barely visible. Dimly discernible was the densely covered upper part with barnacle-like objects, with irregularities that produced holes, one after another.

A bit higher was its bright orange hair, like that of a venomous spider's body...

A robust white spine extended downwards, centered on a twisted and grotesque torso that sprawled in all directions.

Evan saw many familiar features of magical creatures, but everything seemed distorted, as if someone had dismembered the bodies of hundreds of magical creatures and then involuntarily patched them together.

This certainly constituted the worst "artwork" in history, a grotesque monster from a nightmare that could easily steal sleep from anyone who beheld it.

For instance, the limb extending closest to the middle and upper part was a body akin to an endlessly elongated basilisk. Barely visible was something akin to the head of a dry fire dragon in the darkness.

The basilisk's body was no longer covered with beautiful dark green scales, but with wrinkled muscular textures of purple color.

Every few feet, there were quivering blue or yellow tumors that seemed on the verge of bursting open at any moment.

It appeared as though something was hidden inside them, something impatiently waiting to burst out.

Evan did not know what had happened to the fake Moody.

Why did he have the memory of this terrible alien-like creature in his mind? Did something like this really exist in this world?!

Perhaps this was a new evil spirit, for they all looked so insane and indescribable.

Just as Evan was immersed in the horror of this creature, a powerful magic suddenly surged.

This magic was very familiar to him; he had seen it many times. It was the unique power of vampires.

The fake Moody in front of him was undoubtedly Caresius!

Evan blinked and the image disappeared. He was expelled from Caresius's memories.

Before him, Caresius fell to the ground, holding his wand and pointing it at him, breathing heavily. His body trembled slightly, and his face was pale.

"Well done, very well done!" his hoarse voice said, his two eyes fixed on Evan.

The students around them were stunned, their faces equally pale and filled with horror and astonishment.

They did not know what had just happened. They only saw that Evan, who had been "under control," suddenly drew his wand, and then Moody was thrown back and his wand flew out of his grasp.

They did not understand what was happening. Could it be that Moody's curse had failed and he had been defeated by Evan?!

Impactoed, with wide eyes, they watched what was unfolding before them with disbelief.

Whether they believed it or not, that had truly happened.

They could even deduce directly that Evan was stronger than Moody. YES! HE HAD DEFEATED MOODY!

Even though Evan was now famous, what had happened today was enough to add to his legend!

A 13-year-old wizard's triumph over the finest Auror of the Ministry of Magic should be the hottest topic at Hogwarts, and perhaps in the British Wizarding Community!

Only Evan knew that he did not defeat Caresius by force.

Finally, Caresius exploded with immense power, filling him with a lingering fear. This individual had only been blinded by his Occlumency, thinking he had controlled him with the Imperius Curse. Greedily, he used Legilimancy to delve into Evan's memories, exposing weaknesses. And Evan seized the opportunity to counterattack successfully in a single blow.

They say that greed is the original sin! And moreover, he was the one who constantly repeated "CONSTANT VIGILANCE!"

"Well, Mr. Mason successfully resisted the Imperius Curse and defeated it completely," Moody said, staggering to his feet, "You may ask him about the experience, so you are not easily controlled."

The rest of the time passed in an eerie atmosphere, the classroom was silent, and no one spoke.

Moody sat in the chair next to the desk, staring at Evan as if pondering something.

The other young wizards did not dare to ask questions. They all looked down, seemingly taking notes on the three Unforgivable Curses, but were actually passing small notes, occasionally lifting their heads in amazement to look at Evan and Moody, then quickly lowering them again.

Evan pondered the monster he had just witnessed. What was that?!

It wasn't until the bell rang and Moody announced he would be leaving the classroom that everyone started talking again.

"How did he do it?"

"Did you see it? Evan defeated Moody. This is incredible!"

"Moody's Imperius Curse had no effect on Evan. He is the strongest, even stronger than the dark wizards."

"Evan should be the Hogwarts champion. He must be the one to represent the school in the Triwizard Tournament. I can't think of anyone more qualified than him!"

"But he's not even seventeen yet."

"He must have a way to break Dumbledore's restrictions."

The discussion continued, and Evan was not listening. He and the equally excited Colin left the classroom.

The news spread as the students who had participated in the class left, and soon, everyone in the castle would hear about it.
