The drizzle added a touch of freshness to the warm summer weather.

Tonight, the Quidditch World Cup final should not be affected by this, but at this moment, Evan's room was witnessing something entirely different.

Time passed very slowly and seemed to have stopped at that precise moment.

Steam rose slowly from the cup in Evan's hand, filling the room with the sweet aroma of chocolate.

Perhaps due to the steam, Evan felt the temperature inside the room rising rapidly.

Soon, it became overwhelming, like in a greenhouse at noon, making him feel suffocated in his clothes.

Evan remained with the hot drink in hand, gazing at the small pile of clothes Elaine had left outside the bathroom door.

The sound of water inside mingled with the sound of rain outside the tent, becoming indistinguishable.

Just as mixed as the sounds were, so were Evan's thoughts, all jumbled together. He couldn't make sense of them, nor could he stop them.

He blinked to make sure he wasn't dreaming because this turn of events was truly unexpected.

Who would have thought that Elaine would actually bathe in his room?

Who would have thought she would actually leave all her wet clothes outside?

It's true that Elaine was undeniably attractive, regardless of her vampire nature and her wicked desire to bite him at any moment.

Of all the girls Evan had known, none were more beautiful than her.

Without any apparent reason, his mind naturally turned to Elaine in the bathroom at that moment.

Petite body, skin as soft as snow, face resembling that of a porcelain doll, eyes the color of wine brimming with charm and...

No, he couldn't keep thinking about that!

Evan had a headache. This girl was truly troublesome. She had no common sense whatsoever!

He didn't know what to say or what to do.

Fortunately, everyone was asleep now, and it was only the two of them in the room. It would be too embarrassing if someone else walked in.

If he and Elaine were discovered in this room, it would be an inexplicable situation.

Evan glanced back. Fortunately, he had locked the door, and no one could enter.

He just heaved a sigh of relief and immediately thought, "What am I doing?!"

Why did he look back at the lock as if something was actually going to happen?

He only went out to get her a drink. Who would have thought this would happen? Nothing was happening as Evan wanted. He felt forced to accept it helplessly.

However, would anyone believe that?!

Perhaps it was not a good idea to bring a vampire into his room on a rainy day.

In any case, now Evan only hoped that Elaine would leave immediately after bathing and not be seen by anyone.

Especially, he must not let Hermione see the current situation in his room.

He stood there for a long time before deciding to pretend he hadn't seen the pile of clothes at the door.

"Elaine, are you showering inside?" Evan asked in the most neutral tone possible, placing the cup on the table.

"Yes, I came in when I saw the bathroom!" Elaine said. "When my clothes got wet in the rain, they became very sticky."

"Oh, then I'll leave the drink on the table, and you can come out to have it after washing up." Evan glanced again at the pile of clothes by the door.

The dialogue was mundane and not what Evan really wanted to say. Actually, he wanted to ask her why she had put her clothes there.

All of her clothes were outside the door! How was she going to come out after the bath?!

Thinking about it, Evan felt he should leave quickly and give her space and time.

Just then, Elaine's voice came from the bathroom. "Oh, my clothes!"

It seemed the girl had just realized she had left her clothes outside the door.

There was an awkward silence, and no noise was heard in the bathroom for a long time.

Elaine must be embarrassed, lacking common sense. She also knew that this situation was not quite right.

"Elaine, I'll be stepping out," Evan replied before she could continue.

He heard someone moving in the hallway. It seemed Harry had left the room to do something.

Perhaps he was hungry and wanted to find something to eat in the kitchen downstairs. Or maybe he couldn't sleep and wanted to find someone to chat with, which would truly be the worst possible scenario.

If everyone was leaving their rooms, how could Elaine be sent without being seen?

Evan was contemplating the use of Apparition. Despite lacking permission, he was familiar with the principle of this magic.

After a few minutes of anguish, Harry dragged his feet heavily back to his room.

Evan let out a relieved sigh. Luckily, he hadn't been discovered.

"Evan, could you bring me the clothes from outside?" Elaine finally seemed to have gathered the courage to suddenly say, "Through the crack in the door!"

"Oh, I see," replied Evan.

His request came at just the right moment. Now that Harry was awake, he could overhear them at any moment. In case he saw something

Though he had done nothing wrong, Evan felt guilty as if he were a thief.

Perhaps the right thing to do was to push that clothing through the crack in the door and give it to Elaine.

Moreover, he was fetching the clothes at her own request.

Evan held his breath and approached the small pile of rain-soaked clothes on the floor.

There weren't many garments, a light blue dress, a pair of white socks, and underwear hidden underneath.

He hadn't realized before that they had pink embellishments sewn on them and some frills and designs.

They were all Muggle garments, like the ones most Muggle girls of her age would choose at that time.

Evan gazed at the clothing for a moment, and his initial thought was how slim Elaine was. How could she wear such exquisite garments?

Evan shook his head. Now was not the time to dwell on such matters.

He took a deep breath and picked up the wet clothes directly.

They were very light, and even the light blue dress didn't seem to have much weight.

The fabric was also very soft, and he didn't know what material it was made of.

Evans mind was blank; there was no time to think of anything else.

He felt his face was a bit flushed, so he hurried to push that clothing through the crack in the door to Elaine.

But why wasn't Elaine opening the door? He couldn't just barge in like that.

Inside, Elaine was equally concerned.

But before their struggle could continue, there was another knock on Evan's room door.

"Who is it?" Evan asked nervously, on edge. Was it Hermione?

"It's me, Master Evan," Kreacher's voice came in. "There's a lady looking for you. I've brought her here."

Another girl was coming... What was happening?
