It was truly dreadful, undeniably troublesome.

As long as Harry's Horcrux existed, Voldemort would never perish.

Evan had planned to find a way to eliminate or destroy Voldemort's Horcrux within Harry's body without harming him.

But so far, his research in this area had yielded no progress.

He had pinned his hopes on the Secret Treasure left by the Four Founders. Clearly, Evan was betting wrongly here.

The pursuit of the Secret Treasure turned out to be far more intricate and problematic than dealing with Voldemort himself.

Whatever the Four Founders had left in it, he couldn't rely on using it against Voldemort.

As for what was unveiled in the search for the secret treasure, it was completely beyond Evan's imagination.

Now, in hindsight, he was nave to think the Four Founders were truly concerned about Hogwarts' state a thousand years later and left behind some weapon to face Voldemort, a descendant of Slytherin.

Now, it seemed far from being so straightforward, and it was likely that the four had plotted this for a long time.

There was a prophecy, and some ancient spell connected to this, ones that existed since the era of ancient wizards.

Evan shook his head, and since he couldn't find a way to destroy the Horcrux in Harry's body, everything came back to a standstill.

Now, with the powerful aid and the statue of the evil god Voldemort acquired, it made no sense to further delay.

Continuing with the previous plan would only worsen things, and he had to devise new plans as soon as possible.

It seemed a prudent choice to let the Triwizard Tournament unfold according to the established plan.

If Voldemort wanted to return, he would definitely choose that spell, the one that used his father's bones, his servants' flesh, and his enemies' blood to resurrect.

Unsurprisingly, there was no doubt he would insist on obtaining Harry's blood to complete the spell; Voldemort's pride made Harry his only choice.

Evan knew that, and so did Dumbledore.

When Harry's blood integrated into Voldemort's body, the blood curse cast by Harry's mother weakened to some extent.

But the spell was too potent; it still shielded Harry.

This was reflected in the fact that as long as a place existed where Harry's family resided, he could not be harmed by Voldemort.

Another thing was that as long as his body was fused with Harry's blood, Voldemort could never truly kill him.

If Voldemort wanted to kill Harry, he could only destroy his own Horcrux in Harry's body.

Dumbledore's double assurance was to entrust the Elder Wand to Harry, making him its true master.

The Elder Wand wouldn't harm its master, thus involving deep magic in wandlore.

Dumbledore would lure Voldemort by letting him know the secret of the Deathly Hallows and make him believe he had acquired the Elder Wand.

But he would gain nothing, and end up only with shame and death.

Evan sighed. It seemed to be the only choice until there was a better way, bringing back Voldemort to life with Harry's blood and, at the last moment, letting Voldemort kill Harry himself.

Only then could they completely destroy Voldemort, who would think he was victorious.

This sounded insane enough, but it was indeed Dumbledore's plan.

To him, it didn't seem to be a problem.

In Dumbledore's life, lies and secrets coexisted. He understood the meaning of life and could choose death at the critical moment. Even his own life could be sacrificed at any time, for the greater good...

This was the main reason why Evan had always felt that Dumbledore was terrifying. He told himself he couldn't do this under any circumstance.

In the eyes of ordinary people, each of these talented wizards was a madman.

Dumbledore had talked to Evan about it very implicitly before, asking him to be mentally prepared.

Voldemort was handed over to Harry, and Evan was left with the other enemies, especially those evil gods. He had a feeling that destroying Voldemort would no longer be the end, but probably just the beginning.

Of course, judging by the current situation, all these things seemed very distant.

What needed to be decided was that the Triwizard Tournament should unfold according to the established plot, and Evan should also take part in it.

Only in this way could he ensure that no accidents occurred and be able to make the right decisions in time.

With this in mind, Evan resolved to place his name into the Goblet of Fire.

As for the original Hogwarts champion, Cedric Diggory of Hufflepuff, Evan felt no remorse for replacing him.

Diggory was strong, but only within the normal range of young wizards.

He still lacked the right mindset, and in front of a true dark wizard, he might not have the ability to defend himself. In the original book, he was easily killed by Peter Pettigrew.

"Yes! I must take his place and save his life."

Evan decided to prepare for the competition while Harry and Ron kept bothering Sirius.

They hoped he could tell them about the great projects Hogwarts would organize.

Sirius said nothing, but the topic gradually became evident at the end of the World Cup final.

They kept moving forward, not to fetch water at the center of the camp like the others did, but headed in a direction outside the camp.

"Wait, are my eyes playing tricks on me or has everything turned green?" Ron suddenly exclaimed.

It wasn't just Ron's eyes. Evan also saw a sea of green in front of him! They had entered an area of tents all covered with a thick layer of clover, making it look as if small hills of strange shapes had sprouted from the ground.

Smiling faces could be seen under those with open flaps.

Then, from behind, they heard their names called out, "Professor Black, Evan, Harry, Ron!"

Looking back, they saw it was Seamus Finnigan, their Gryffindor roommate in fourth year, along with Harry and Ron.

He was sitting in front of his own clover-covered tent, with a sandy-haired woman who must be his mother, and his best friend Dean Thomas, who also smiled and beckoned them.

The only impression Evan had of Seamus was that he was exceptionally talented with explosions.

Whether in Snape's Potions class, Professor Flitwick's Charms class, or even Professor McGonagall's Transfiguration class, he had built up an impressive record. It involved causing his wand or a cauldron to explode with his magic.

This was not something an average person could do.

Even doing it deliberately was very difficult to achieve such a record.

Evan's "Hogwarts Magic Diary" had made a special mention of this matter. According to incomplete statistics, Seamus maintained a consistent frequency of explosions three times a week, which was astonishing in a certain sense!

If Neville hadn't been worse each time, the title of ultimate cauldron killer would definitely have gone to Seamus.
