Before Bagman could say how he would help Ron, Evan, Harry, and Hermione emerged from the bushes.

After parting ways with Ron, Evan and the other five followed Professor McGonagall to the arena.

After asking Colin to save their seats, Evan, Harry, and Hermione sneaked back into the tent.

They had planned to wait until no one was inside to find a way in. Little did they know that once there, they would see Bagman escorting Ron out.

"Why are you here?" exclaimed Bagman in surprise.

The next moment, before they could explain themselves, a whistle sounded somewhere on the ground.

"Oh my, I must run!" exclaimed Bagman in alarm as he hurriedly left, no longer concerned about them.

"Why did he ask you to come out?" Hermione asked, skeptically watching Bagman's retreating figure.

"He wanted to help me and was ready to give me advice. Before he could say anything, you interrupted!" Ron replied.

"You can overcome the task as long as you stick to the battle plan and do not need any further assistance," Evan said. "It's not a glorious feat. The fewer people you know, the better. By the way, what type of Fire Dragon did you choose?"

"The Chinese Fireball!" Ron quickly responded, looking eagerly at Evan. "Do you have any Fire Protection Potion for it?"

The Chinese Fireball Dragon was the only Oriental dragon in the clutch, also known as the Lion Dragon, originating from China.

Its appearance is particularly striking. It has scarlet and soft scales, a row of golden spikes around its flat snouted face, and extremely bulging eyes.

The Chinese Fireball earned its name from the mushroom-shaped flame that bursts from its nostrils when it is angry. That is its most powerful attack.

The female Chinese Fireball is much larger than the male. It is aggressive but tolerant, sometimes agreeing to share its territory with up to two others.

With Evan's potion assistance, Ron didn't have to worry about its fire attack.

Relatively speaking, this was much less difficult than the more dangerous Hungarian Horntail that Harry had chosen in the original book.

Evan took out the potion to protect against the fire of the Chinese Fireball and handed it to Ron. The three exchanged words of encouragement before returning to the audience.

At that moment, the audience was filled with people, and all the young wizards were shouting and cheering.

The five judges, Dumbledore, Mr. Crouch, Madame Maxime, Karkaroff, and Ludo Bagman, were seated in the middle tier.

Then, Evan spotted Sirius in the crowd. He was in front of the judges' table, greeting them.

"It's strange, why did Bagman offer to help Ron?" Harry said, waving to Sirius. "There's no reason, he's a judge..."

"Probably for personal reasons."

"Don't worry about him. Let's hope Ron succeeds!" Hermione said, concerned, staring at the center of the field.

Krum had emerged from the tent, and in front of him was the Silvery-blue Swedish Short-Snout.

This dragon is the most beautiful of all dragons. It is silver-blue and can exhale a bright blue flame from its nostrils.

But beyond this beauty, it truly possesses devastating strength. The blue flame is hot enough to reduce wood and bones to ashes in a matter of seconds.

In the Middle Ages, the skin of the Swedish Short-Snout was prized for making gloves and protective shields, and dragon skin products were the main gear of all adventurers and wizards.

Due to its high value, many people attempted to kill the dragon.

The vast majority of Dragon Hunters eventually perished, and their skeletons remained forever in the northern mountains of Sweden.

The Swedish Short-Snout is one of the most dangerous species in the world due to its agile flight and extremely hot fire for both attack and defense.

"Look at Krum, what is he doing!"

Krum exited the tent and ran straight towards the Short-Snout on the other side of the field.

The Short-Snout crouched, protecting its clutch of eggs, and its fearsome eyes fixed on Krum, who was approaching.

It let out a sharp roar, warning Krum not to come closer, and flapped its wings.

Krum appeared oblivious to the danger. He dashed diagonally forward and got very close to the dragon.

In the next second, the Short Tail snorted and spewed a blue flame, causing Krum to run for cover behind the stone.

The flame skimmed past him, menacing and threatening, capturing the full attention of the young wizards.

Even in the distant audience, they could still sense the intense heat.

The Short Tail's blue flame burned steadily, swaying back and forth where Krum was hiding.

As the rocks melted from the heat, it was not advisable for Krum to remain concealed there.

He was doomed! Everyone shared this thought!

Just as the dragon keepers were about to rush to save Krum, the flame shot out by the Short Tail gradually ceased. Panting heavily, Krum seized the opportunity to bolt.

The wand in his hand aimed at the Short Tail, unleashing a spell that struck the dragon in the eyes.

It was the Conjunctivitis Curse!

The Short Tail let out a horrific, gut-wrenching roar, leaving the audience breathless.

"Very bold, Krum displayed extraordinary courage!" exclaimed Bagman. "The dragon can't see a thing now... wait, oh no!"

They saw the Short Tail thrashing wildly in pain, trampling and crushing half of the eggs behind him.

Krum's Conjunctivitis Curse was so potent that the Short Tail lost its sight and felt agony.

Ten seconds later, Krum dodged the beast's aimless attack and snatched the golden egg from the nest behind her.

Over forty dragon keepers on standby rushed in to pacify the frenzied dragon.

"He did very well!" Evan remarked objectively. "Ron really should have seen it. The Conjunctivitis Curse Krum used is exemplary. He excelled in both position and timing, worthy of study. Ron just needs to be half as good as him, and he can easily get past the dragon."

"Krum is truly skilled, but his score will definitely suffer. He wrecked half of the actual eggs. Points will be deducted for that. He wasn't supposed to cause any harm to them," Hermione said, gesturing for everyone to look at Hagrid, who was in the middle of the enclosure.

Hagrid was assisting Charlie and other dragon keepers in salvaging what they could of the dragon eggs with a distressed expression on his face.

Indeed, due to Krum's performance, aside from Karkaroff who awarded him a perfect score, the other four judges only gave eight or nine points as evaluation.
