Y/n's POV
Although the weather had been nice and sunny earlier on in the day it had since returned to the typical Washington weather after a few hours of bliss sunlight. As such the recent downpour made the roads and pavements very wet and slippery.
Bella and myself struggled to make it up the side ally leading to the bookstore without my feet giving way. Rain doesn't help the blind nor the uncoordinated.
After slipping my way up the alley, I decided it was best I waited below the store in the car park. Saving Bella from having to guide me up the slippery wooden steps towards the bookstore entrance.
I was leant against a nearby low stone wall minding my own business when I felt an all too familiar gaze burning into my ten o clock. I slowly lifted my head and turned in the direction I felt the gaze.
I could feel it, although not see it, the moment my own blurry E/c eyes connected with his golden brown ones.
He made no effort to approach, neither had I heard him approach from where he stood prior to the sudden feeling that he was there. Using my cane I took the initiative to walk towards him. When the cane tapped his foot I moved my head up slightly.
"Hello Jasper." I said in a soft voice. I waited a moment but as always he remained quiet. "You weren't at school today." I comment hoping to start up a conversation. When no response came I felt I may have imagined his existence so I reached out my left hand.
My hand touched the fabric of his cotton T-shirt confirming that there indeed stood a man before me, one I believed to be Jasper for never had I felt someone's gaze like his. The intense burning of desire, hesitation and curiosity. I stepped closer to the boy slipping the wrist strap of my cane over my wrist as I began to use both hands.
"I can feel it in your gaze that you are curious and hesitant to be around me. If you have questions, I'll more than willingly answer them." I chime as I run my hands up his chest. They were trailing higher and higher ignoring the cold sensation I felt when his hands suddenly gripped my wrists.
"Please." I whisper. "My hands are my eyes. If I'm never to hear your voice, I'd like to at least put a face to the name."
A beat of silence passed before I felt his hands guide mine up to his face. He let go of my wrists once the tips of my fingers touched his cheeks. Stepping closer I took my time as I felt around his face imagine what the boy could look like. The entire time he stood still, almost statue-like.
His skin felt like marble from the smoothness all the way to the cold touch it emits. He had a soft but prominent jaw which unlike the rest of his face I could feel that of multiple bumps, scars, oval shaped, running down to his neck. His lips were surprisingly plumb for a man's, his nose sculpted perfectly straight coming out at a perfect point.
My hands trailed up towards his eyes; they were round and almond shaped. I could feel him close them as my fingers traced his long lashes. His eyebrows were thick and arched at the ends. That's when I reached his hair. Silky smooth long waves reaching down to his collar.
