Y/n's POV

When Bella had her near death experience with James, she told me one night that as she lay unconscious on the brink of death that death was peaceful, easy and that living was the hard part.

What a load of Bullshit!

Death was painful, excruciating, every fibre in my body burned as if I'd been tossed into the flames of Mordor. And while my body writhed in pain images from my life, from when I could see flashed before my eyes.

3rd Person POV

The rain poured loudly outside, a rare occasion for Arizona. Cooped up in the house all day a young Y/n watches as Bella and her play date happily laughed and played with each other.

She had tried to join them but when the other girl saw the youngest twin approach she whispered into Bella's ear. Bella stood up grabbing her twin by the arm and walking her back across the room.

"What are you doing?" Bella asked. The young Y/n looked from where she once sat and back to her sister.

"I was gonna ask if I could play too?" Y/n replies fiddling with her fingers. At this time Y/n used to have a fringe worn over her left.

"Well Sarah doesn't want to play with you. Neither do I." Bella states, crossing her arms with her brown hair tied back.

"But why?" Y/n whines while she brushes the fringe from her face, tucking it behind her ear.

The now displayed clouded E/c eye causes Bella to cringe as she looks into her sister's other one. The young Bella couldn't understand how her sister was born with one seeing eye, and at their young age she was quick to judge.

"Just leave us alone." The girl asserts, pushing past her sister, walking back over to the other little girl in the room.

"Bella, we're supposed to be sisters and mother always says twins are each other's best friends, so why do you always push me away when you have other friend over? I want to make friends to... mother keeps me home all day the only person I know are you and her." Young Y/n questions, voice trembling.

"Who wants to be friends with a blind person like you? They are too much responsibility, always having to be careful and watch where you're stepping. Why don't you go and annoy our mother." Bella rebukes, flicking her hair as she walks back to her friend with a fake smile upon her face.

Y/n walks away with tears in her eyes, moving the fringe back onto her face as she walks into the other room sitting at her piano stool. She didn't understand her sister. Bella and her always did everything together when they were at home together. Yet whenever she'd have a friend over from school she'd become this mean person.

Was her own sister ashamed of her own twin? Embarrassed by her sister's blindness?

With a heavy sigh young Y/n looked to the window seeing the rain starting to get heavier. Turning on the stool, her small hands lift the lid to the piano keys revealing the sleek white and black keys.
