Fleeting Flame

A touch, a smile, a daring leap,
and suddenly, your lips met mine
the world faded, the music slowed,
a frozen moment in time

I still remember it,
you looked deep into my eyes,
and kissed me without warning,
caught me by surprise.

It seemed to strech for ages,
and you seemed to crave for more,
but I was lost, a wandering soul,
unsure what I was searching for

I recall the warmth of your touch,
like sunlight breaking a winter's chill,
that's how your head felt on my chest,
as the world outside stood still

You wanted more than I could give,
my heart, still lost in mystery,
I felt the spark but feared the flame,
afraid of what it meant for me.

Still, I'm thankful for it all
The dance, the kiss, the spark,
for even if it endet then,
you lit something in the dark

For even as we parted ways,
And the music slowly died,
You taught me how a single kiss
Could leave a flame alive

And though the music faded out,
And silence took its place,
I’m grateful for that fleeting spark,
And the warmth of your embrace.
