Where are you,
when I need you here?
Your heart so far,
instead of near.
Oceans between us,
day, and night,
You're so far every day,
out of my sight.
Like the ocean aches for the shore,
I yearn for your embrace,
each day even more.
Each second that passes,
while you're far away,
makes my heart tremble faster,
and makes me cry every day.
My arms feel empty,
like you left your post.
But my heart's loud screaming,
is what hurts me the most.
I cling to your image,
though you’re far from my sight,
dreaming of your embrace
every day, every night.
