Look at our names in that tree.
Watch the stars at night,
Look at the sun, so bright.
Remember me,
Sitting by a candles light.
Your memories may fade
like whispers in the breeze,
But I’m begging you to stay,
to hold on to these.
I will come back,
like the tide to the shore,
In the chill of the night,
when the world feels unsure.
When the air turns to ice,
and the moon is so black,
I’ll be there in the silence,
always watching your back.
Gaze at the horizon,
where the sea meets the sky,
That’s where you’ll find me,
I won’t say goodbye.
In the depths of the waves,
in the whispering foam,
I’ll linger forever,
a part of your home.
So do not forget me,
though distance may part,
I’m etched in your soul,
I’m a beat of your heart.
When you close your eyes,
and the world disappears,
Know that I’m with you,
throughout all your years.
In the echoes of time,
in the dreams that we share,
I’ll never forget you,
I’ll always be there.
Don’t forget me,
as the seasons unfold,
In the warmth of the summer,
or the chill of the cold.
