Arriving in Chicago, we get off the plane, making our way out to the rental car with Braelin in the car seat, installing it and then climbing into the driver and passenger seat, Londyn offering to drive.

In the middle of the drive, Braelin gets fussy, making me start to freak out a little, reaching back and trying to hold her hand and calm her but it doesn't work. She just doesn't want to be in the car or in the car seat. It's fine. She's okay.

Arriving to the hotel, I turn to her, furrowing my brows.

"Wait, how do you know which hotel he's at? Does he know we're coming?"

She shakes her head. "No, I called Greg earlier."

I lick my lips, nodding. "Gotcha. Let's go through the back, there's paparazzi everywhere. No one even knows the baby exists yet."

She nods, parking out back and helping me by grabbing mine and hers bags, letting me grab Braelin before we head inside and to the elevators.

"He has no idea we're coming," I gulp.

She shakes her head. "No. But, that's okay. I texted Greg, he's gonna-"

The elevator opens, Greg standing on the other side of the doors.

"Hi," he greets us, giving me a small smile.

"Hey," I press my lips together, giving him a tight grin.

He nods, leading us to a door before turning to me. "He's in there, he has no idea you're coming. He's a little bummed since he couldn't make it to you and the girls, so, it'll make him smile to see you."

I sigh, nodding and letting Greg knock for me, Joe's voice answering with a 'yeah?!' in return.

Greg nods and opens the door for me, letting us walk in, my eyes scanning the main area of the suite, Londyn following behind me and dropping our bags near the door, letting out a small sigh.

Footsteps along with a sigh make me turn to the right, Joe emerging from what I assume is the bedroom, his brows furrowed before his face drops in realization, a small smile pulling at the corner of his lips.

"Hi," I say softly, forcing a smile.

He smiles. "Hi."

I watch his eyes flicker from mine down to Braelin in my arms, him gulping as he looks at her, his face softening in admiration, his entire being melting at the sight of her.

I watch as he walks takes a few steps closer, his eyes glued to her as he steps in front of me, taking her from my arms as I move her outward toward him, feeling Londyn's intense stare on us.

"Hi," he tells Braelin softly, melting further, though I didn't think it was possible. I watch his eyes as they glass over, him closing them to bring her to his lips, placing a kiss on her forehead. "Daddy's so glad to see you out of the hospital, angel."

I grin, my eyes tearing as well, gulping down the lump in my throat.

He grins again after a moment, looking back to me, holding her on one arm while using the other one to pull me in. "Hi, my love."

"Hi," I grin.

"What are you doing here?" he asks. "Not that I'm complaining."

"Well, I figured not seeing her outside of the hospital was killing you. We both wanted her out so bad and you haven't even gotten to see her since she's been home."

He grins, nodding. "Thank you."

I grin, nodding. "Yeah."

"Hey Londyn," he smiles toward her.
