Quickly turning off the midnight alarm so I don't wake the girls, I sigh to myself, sitting up slightly and attaching my pump to my breasts, turning it on and silently thanking the music for the girls for hiding the obnoxious sound. Regardless, however, I notice Joe begin to shift on his side of the bed, stretching slightly as he glances over at me.

"What time is it?" he asks tiredly.

"Like, 12:10 or something," I whisper back tiredly, my head leaned against the headboard and my eyes closed now.

"Hey," he whispers, reaching over and grabbing my hand to make me look at him tiredly.

"Hm?"

"Happy Birthday," he whispers.

I lift my head, giving him a look before relaxing it once again. "Thank you."

He pulls my hand over, kissing it before humming to himself. "Am I gonna get any time with you today?"

I lick my lips. "I don't know. All I can think about is Braelin."

He sighs. "Two."

I give him a confused look. "Huh?"

"Go to the hospital until like, two or three. Then come home and spend some time with me and the girls."

I sigh, licking my lips again before nodding. It's not fair if I don't give them any of my time. "Okay."

He grins lightly, kissing my hand once more before closing his eyes again, falling back to sleep swiftly.

If I'm being honest, if Joe hadn't just said something, I wouldn't have remembered my birthday at all. I hadn't even thought of it. I still can't believe my little girl's birthday is only four days before my own. I mean... give or take a few years I suppose. Regardless, I couldn't care less about celebrating it. But I know it'll give Joe something else to focus on and I know the girls would love to celebrate. There'd be cake, so they'll be happy. That settles it. I'll celebrate. But only for them. I have no use in celebrating otherwise. I just want to bring my little girl home.

*No One's POV*

As the time reaches closer to six in the morning, Willa's eyes flutter open, looking over to Addie and beginning to move towards her, wanting her mommy to get up and spend time with her. She giggles softly, moving towards her slowly as a gently hand reaches for her.

"No, princess, no."

She turns to Joe, pouting. "I want mommy."

"I know, princess, but mommy didn't get a lot of sleep last night, okay? We're gonna let her sleep a little longer. Plus, I need your help," he tells her tiredly.

"My help?" she whispers, giggling.

He nods. "Yeah, princess, your help."

She giggles, grinning. "Okay."

The two of them make their way out of the bedroom, leaving Addie and Delphine fast asleep in the bed still, only for Addie to wake up twenty minutes later, pumping and quickly falling back asleep.

By seven, Delphine wakes up, starting to whine when Joe quickly makes his way into the room, grabbing her and picking her up, letting her cuddle into his shoulder as he carries her out of the room, sitting with her for a few moments as he orders breakfast from Addie's favorite restaurant to be delivered, knowing she'll be up around the same time it'll be delivered.

He finds himself shocked that she's still home right now instead of getting up before dawn and trying to make her way to the hospital. He isn't complaining though, it'll be nice to celebrate her birthday with her a bit. He knows she's stressed about the baby and wants to be there. He is too... but they have two other daughters that he doesn't want to disappear from, despite the constant battle in his head on where he should be at what time. He doesn't want to bring it to Addie to help him figure it out. He knows it'll just stress her out more and that's the last thing he wants to do to her right now. He'll figure it out, he always does.
